Getting people to use Bitcoin- ideas

This is nice, Good job op. I haven't seen any active facebook page about bitcoin so it's really great. I suggest that you should post some advantages about bitcoins and have a pinned post of the overview of bitcoin

I DO NOT LIKE IT!!

You post that "Bitcoin is completely anonymous" and "Bitcoin has no fee". Both statements are not true so i stopped reading there.
If you want get people interested in Bitcoin, then first of all do not lie to them! Or else they will think Bitcoin is a scam and are done with it.
This is not helping.

It is far more not engaging to say pseudo anonymous instead of anonymous when the difference is so little for the general user.

Bitcoin's fees compared to PayPal or Stripe are so much lower, that the final conclusion for the general user is - not existent.

The whole concept is to talk about the final values the user gets. Not explaining every small and technical detail.

when i buy porn and my wife divorces me and i buy drugs and get jailed and then i come complaining and you tell me: well to be honest it is not anonymous but almost. i guess i would be facing charges again.
also you can almost every day read here stuff like this: why 0 confirmations after x hours? are bitcoins not supposed to be fast? oh bty 0 fee since it is free.
if you sell me a product and tell me it is free and i find out later that i have to pay fees every single time, then i will never buy from you again and most likely return the product. Maybe find some other altcoin which is free or at least dos not lie to me.
if you want to be taken serious you have to act serious. period.

I deleted the post "Bitcoin has no fees" and changed the post with "completely anonymous".

I will repost it with the focus shifted to- control over privacy and low fees

This ad would clearly help people on knowing what bitcoin is, and if someone asks them about bitcoin, they can just show them this video too and so on and so forth. This is a really good public material that we needed.

This is a good idea. Most of the people that we know of are in facebook so it's a good way of informing them about it. Internet has become a necessity nowadays and if there's an internet then there's social media so if people will be more engage and be interested about it then it will spread like wildfire if they just understand and will know the advantages of being involved in bitcoin world.

Okay, I agree with that. because in the facebook is full with auto bot poster, maybe for suggestion if you wanna making a blog for bitcoin and better for not putting a lot of advertising because there are a lot of bitcoin blog information but it's just fully with advertising and I'm really hated about that.

You're right dude many of us now in our country are using bitcoin. So that we can use bitcoin as a currency to start investing, trading and do gambling in website because if we do gambling there's no need some entrance fee we can also use now are bitcoin wallet to buy online some item that we need and we can use for daily living.

Yes bitcoin has given us an additional source of income and it is helping us in many ways and I keep on saying same thing to people around me, some of them follow me and rest simply ignore.

Countries like yours are the ones where people can benefit from Bitcoin already.
That's really great to see and where I believe Bitcoin is going to have a real impact first.
In the western world people are used so much to credit cards, debit cards, paypal and stuff that they hardly see the advantages of Bitcoin.That's why it will take much longer becoming mainstream beside trading, speculation and online purchases.

Facebook accounts. I post links regularly and it is a good conversation starter for people who knows nothing about the topic. Many of my friends also

I like the page so far, I just skimmed over it but it seems like there is enough there that it'll get some people doing things or at least a bit more interested in Bitcoin. I personally don't use facebook and so I won't be able to help out and offer tips, but I hope there are some people who will regularly contribute to that page.

Wow that was a wonderful idea, it was really good.  A very nice idea of campaigning all about bitcoins.  I am not into social media but I would take time to visit my facebook account once again.  If we inform people about the capabilities of bitcoin as to another way of earning money or its ability to do things like the normal currency we are using, many people will surely use bitcoins and then bitcoins will be stable.

I don't think getting people from Facebook involved in Bitcoin stuffs is a good idea. For sure, the reason why they are spending much time on Facebook is because they are one of the type of people that has been absorbed/eaten by the social media. Even if they see your post, they'll be too lazy to read it and even if they read it, it's very likely that they won't be able to fully understand it. Don't get me wrong but take a look at the society, people that spend time mostly on Facebook are getting dumber and dumber these days.

Social media is easily one of the best ways for people to talk about things and get people to look into things, especially when you consider social media's role in today's world. At the same time it can be a powerful tool which can be used to serve interests through censorship, but that shouldn't be an issue for something like Bitcoin. I haven't had a Facebook account ever, but I might consider making one if I feel like contributing more to the community through other means.

The concept is really great if you can manage it in a good way and can make it spread to get people attracted by this, because there are already a lot of groups and pages about bitcoin on facebook but most of them just promote scam or ponzi sites on them and such actions mostly make a bad reputation of bitcoin into the minds of new people.
