Back in the day I had all my liteCoins on BTC-E and decided to move them to Vircurex due to some news I heard about Russia putting pressure on bitcoin exchanges at the time, worst decision of my life as all my lite coins were stolen by Vircurex. Just curious its a few years later, do people still use BTC-E? is it safe?

some month ago I used BTC-e for trade litecoin. but then I quite. and that time BTC-E was working properly. and I think it is still trusted. but I am not sure. i see they are updating constantly and a lot of users still using that. thats why I think it is still paying. but better to try your self.

AFAIK BTC-E is still a trusted exchange site, you can still use them but just be aware coz every exchange site can face a big problem like what happened to bitfinex few days ago |

Define safe.. Yes, i use it, yes, i trust it. But it's not so easy to call anything safe, being unregulated and what not. Anyways they always acted right by me, and especially on that hack way before, when they reverted trades on their damage, and reimbursed all users for losses.. IMHO, they're one of the best, but everyone should use their own rationing. Either way, i wouldn't keep any funds on exchange. Trade and withdraw, still the safest way. |

I'm not a fan of BTC-E because their are a bunch of red flags for me in terms of location, secret owners, etc. But in all fairness, I logged in there after 3 years the other day, and found a couple hundred Litecoin I had completely forgotten about; so there's that. I think they have always acted pretty much fairly, but I would be surprised if something hinky was not going on in the background, and that it will not eventually come out to the forefront.

Well I used it a couple of times like 2 months back but then stopped using it because of some rumors, etc. After reading this thread, I logged in again to my BTC-E account and every thing seems to be perfect there right now, just like before.

is after bitfinex problem i think si much client bitfinex is will join to btc-e and trade in there

Is long time I did not use BTC-E, but i think BTC-E still trusted exchange for trading, they have high volume trading too so many people trusting with BTC-E, so dont worry to sent your coin and trading in BTC-E

In my opinion, BTC-E is most trusted site for trading.Trading volume is so high and many people put their maximum part of btc in that site. personally i use BTC-E for trading btc-ltc. so i can tell you that your ltc is 100% safe in btc-e,don\t worry about that.

I think BTC-E is still considered a trusted site, there are not big problem on its service, although the price of bitcoin on there are always under valuable another markets. But for reasons of security BTC-E is safe.

One of the oldest and trusted exchange is btc-e.com, the only problem with the site is that they have few coins listed compared to other exchange but they have good and secure platform.

As far as you can believe to exchange they are secured, never had none problems with them
But still you can not trust any exchange at all, only maybe one day whet they have secure funds and are backed by some even bigger commpany that can make them even even in case of big hack, maybe then, but for that YEAR are needed
banks are here for many years??

in fiat money pair USD bitcoin exchanger, but another exchanger bitcoin pair usd
btc-e accepted too exchanger altcoin, so btce is complete exchanger, exchanger altcoin and exchanger to pair fiat money

i am using BTC-E for last 3 months and i didnt feel its unsafe. there customer support is very good and they hepls me a lot. i didnt face any problems to think its scam. you can use it freely.

BTC-E can be still be considered to be trusted, they haven't have any problems so far(as far as I know). Just make sure to not put all of your coins there and get out as soon as you are finished trading, considering that bitfinex was hacked some time ago.
