If I have to buy bitcoins then I will prefer to buy it from localbitcoins as its very convenient and safe for me and I hold good experience with it so I will prefer to continue with the same.
I would concur. I have had several transactions on localbitcoins from users that have over 1000+ trust and 100% feedback and there's no problem at all. The other similar service is BTC2BID but with some enhancements, I guess. As they are new, I could not find more number of buyers and seller with them in my city. If someone shares how they are working and any specific advantages over localbitcoins would be more helpful for this community too. |

For me it always depends on what country you are living but mainstream people are buying bitcoin in coinbase where they can use their credit/debit card but if you are from philippines then why don't you try to use coins.ph because it is more reliable and it is easy to use coins.ph now is partner with some banks where you can deposit your sells and where you can withdraw your money thru remitance centers

locally buying bitcoins might be really hard in my opinion, it is better to use some online exchanges as they are usually really reliable and i have never had any problems with it |

There are many exchange in which they accept Fiat money for BTC. .016 BTC is about right for 10 USD. Now 1$ is worth .017 BTC. I know several wallets have the service of serving 2 kinds of wallet where you can interchange them directly with your account. 1 wallet for the BTC and one for the FIAT very useful when you want to avoid losing the BTC you can change it to a stable fiat money. Therefore gaining more btc and changing it back when it is higher again.

In my country can purchase Bitcoin via some exchange purchase, or buy BTC-e code, then purchase Bitcoin via BTC-e.com. Do not buy directly from Coinbase and the large site exchange
But are you never trying for buying in a local exchange in your country maybe that is will better for buying from the foreign site because they're just covering your local area. and why don't buy from the large exchanges? |

I always buy bitcoins from my local exchanger and they have good price on it and no limit to sell or buy bitcoins with them. On that place also have a bonus too if you buy many bitcoins.

I would try bitcoin atm machine in case I wish to buy bitcoins, there is many atms around the world, yesterday I was surfing around the forum and I saw topic about it. There is a site where you can see atm map and you can easily find closest to you.
Also you can exchange you fiat for coins with someone who live close to you, close to my town there is one guy who do this kind of transactions. He buy and sell bitcoins with some little interest.
You can even send money from your bank to some exchanger, and then there you can buy bitcoins. All ways are good ways, there is difference in how big interest someone wish to take from you.

My experience with buying bitcoin (BTC) started August the 7th. I was wandering if there's a way of securely purchasing bitcoins, I started searching on the net and I found that you can buy bitcoin directly from the Xapo website. At first I was a little bit skeptical but I tried to buy 10 USD anyway. I sent the wire transfer and I waited... Surprisingly yesterday ( 3 days after the wire transfer) I received 0.016-ish BTC on my wallet! So if you are wanting to buy some bitcoins I recommend purchasing them on Xapo.

UI was reading through all of this and may I suggest that you open a coinbase wallet. You do not have to use it much per say, but is very easy to build an account with them and then it makes it very simple to transfer your money into BTC or back to your money with small fees. This is what I use as my main transfer. |

locally buying bitcoins might be really hard in my opinion, it is better to use some online exchanges as they are usually really reliable and i have never had any problems with it Even if you have to pay some fee or slightly high rates,always buy from reliable exchange.Although there may be some trusted sellers but always use escrow if you want to buy with them |

I buy my bitcoin from this forum Currency exchange section.My country not allow to send money out in this way, if you want to money out bank asking more question.In this forum some people are very trusted.They are charging high fees but no matter at least there have no chance to lose all money.
