Is it allowed to sell Bitcointalk account?

yes it is allowed, but some people don't like that as you can buy old account and others will think you that you have been here for long time so they will trust you more

some people don't like it because scammers buy accounts for cheap and start scamming easily with high ranked account and showing their self trusted, and this is true. account sales is pretty much encourages scam here.
people should not sell accounts here.

Yeah many people here are trying to make more accounts they are making a lot of account and sell to others. but honestly i dont know if this is allowed or not.. but according to term it is ok to make account multiple times here but the problem i didnt see that it is allowed to sell accounts here unless if the owner have no plan to use the account again..

Theirs no rule prohibit accounts trade but this doing are very discourable and not  really a good thing to do, since many frauds buying high ranks account now just to fool people here, and the higher rank they can get the more people they might get scam its because sometimes newbie are looking for rank to trust not the intention or background of that account.

buying accounts is clearly Identity Fraud and should be banned. or Trust system should be disabled permanently at least. there is no point in both services running side by side

Even if they could trace those account it would solve only a small partition on this problem and  would have a hard time if they would totally ban  of selling accounts. I think thats the thing that they dont even bother to put such rule in this forum because they know already that it could hardly stop.

I guess there's no rules that its now allowed selling account here in bitcointalk, because I've always seen this in digital goods section and even in the auction and sometimes hero members are the one who sell it. Maybe there are members here that is not a fan of selling account here so when they see some account that is going to sell they give it red trust, because it can be use to scam other users here, they just bought an account that has good reputations and they use it to bad doings

But I think the people is using encrypted network like a TOR and VPN is can know, because for some people using a VPN if you trace their IP will appearing the name of their van in the companies. maybe detecting the people is using TOR and SOCKS 5 it's will be more difficult.

But i think it is not suitable for everyone, because Signature campaigns have a rules so follow it.

People are buying and selling accounts allw the time. It this was forbidden, admins would have already reacted and probably banned those users.

Well thats the main reason because those bought accounts would be  used in bad things just like scamming people as same as you said but not all  some may used it  to  join signature campaigns directly without  starting to a newbie  rank. We cant really stop these things because  some people  do make a living   with just  account farming.

Accounts you wanted to sell was developed by you, so don't sell it. rather make use of it.

If one day bitcointalk don't allow accounts to get sold, other people may just gets to create auction threads on some other forums to sell these accounts. so there is no way still how to stop people from selling accounts. it could just go worse. 

its like locking an ANN thread to control the trolls but then trolls themselves created more threads about the locked thread. You can't control these sellers.

If it is not prohibited or banned by the staff members of this forum then we can obviously not do anything about it except not doing it ourselves if we don't like it, or to tell others not to do it otherwise they will get negative trust from your side, it may somehow prevent users to sell or buy accounts, but i think that wont work as well unless admins take any actions against this.

I might stick with the term "okay" to sell accounts within the forum because "allowed" would probably mean a different thing. In the rules of the forum, there is not a single rule that prohibits sales of accounts but is discouraged since bought accounts can be used to scam other people in the forum and the owner could probably do other despicable things with the account like trolling and/or threatening someone.

Thats the thing i also do not understand whether its allowed or not.I am neither in buying or selling nor i am interested in this.
But i see and read posts and always see theads of selling some accounts and deal succesfully happens and nothing happens and some times i see users getting negative feedback and red trust because of selling account.So i think thats not fair,either every one should be given negative feedback who sells account or no one.

Its like a virus even how hard you stop it  you cant really  stop to spread. Im just giving an example .  Even how  hard  do the mods  to stop the selling of accounts  they would still keep selling and they cant tracked what account  has been sold to someone.  Thats why  they dont care anymore to stop it.
