Bitcoin with Gift card?

Hey i recently got myself a mastercard gift card. Long-story short i cant seem to find any websites which will allow me to buy bitcoins with it. Im from Norway and the card im using is a Norwegian paygoo mastercard gift card.
Appreciate if anyone can help?

From this list here https://www.coinbase.com/global?locale=en seems that coinbase accepts your country so you can link your bank account with coinbase and buy bitcoins, It has some fees so you may check them if you can afford that. For most of the other websites you should send your ID or password to pass the verification and then purchase bitcoin.

Can you explained about your gift card, seem gift card is not a credit card or debit card in my minds I think you can't using it. maybe if I'm wrong I'm so sorry but. if you can teach the detail about your gift card is better.

and found that they support norwageian credit cards to buy bitcoin easily but in lower limits instantly.

Most places will not accept prepaid cards on the assumption that they are bought with stolen credit cards and will be charged back. You will be extremely hard pressed to find a website or user willing to trade bitcoin for that from someone with no rep.

there's rarely someone who want to accept this kind of card,but if you really want to exchange it to bitcoin,just go to an exchanger which accept credit card and ask them to allow you to pay with it and you will atleast need to provide the proof of owning the card,maybe the image of physical form?

if the gift card is virtual,the only way to deal is with an individual exchanger

Try to post what you need and what you have in the currency exchange section and see if there's any takers or if any one is interested to take that off your hands but don't expect the same value in Bitcoin and prepare for low ballers.

That's just about the lowest form of fiat imaginable making you a pariah in the eyes of many. You'd be hard pressed to get a lot of conventional shops to accept it online, let alone someone selling crypto.

The usual problem with these types of cards is that they put a charge on it to test it and for some reason that often fails. You could try Virwox but be prepared for failure. Is there an option to get cash out with it?

this method is often getting used by some sites to verify whether the cards is having balance or not or it's just another garbage card which spreading in internet,the key to bypass this is by having enough balance,the money which charged will be refunded,so i guess it's not the main problem,some merchant just don't accept prepaid card because the owner of the card is like just a client for a while and not going to come back

Indeed. I had a virtual credit card for a while. It wasn't too far off totally useless as only a fraction of the places I tried to use accepted it, and the failed attempts kept the verification amount for a few weeks. The poor thing eventually dwindled down to nothing and I had to wait for the balance to be returned.

Had no problem depositing money on virvox. Howvere the problem with the site is that currently, They dont allow you to excange Eur or Usd to Btc.

The better you do your money transfers that exist within the mastercard into digital currency (paypal, etc) after which you made a purchase using coinbase or another. Because I see in your country is still very few sellers bitcoin or a forum that discusses the sale of the bitcoin with receiving payments using mastercards or more

Virwox actually does, I've tried this myself. But they will let you wait a couple of days at first to get you verified.
I've also used a prepaid card on my Paypal account and that also went pretty smooth.

I'm not sure if this would help but you may actually try to use localbitcoins and see if there's any seller that would accept a mastercard gift card. Also, just like nydiacaskey01 said, try asking reps from exchangers and see if they can help you with it.
