How much can you earn from fauctes? It is really a waste of time?

Lets put REAL numbers to this discussion.

Im amazed that i can earn 30-40K satoshis everyday just using few very trustable faucets. Yes, i need a lot of hours, but since i work 10-12 hours daily in the PC anyway, it just take me 5 mins every hour to claim (honestly, less than 5 minutes) Now, with a bigger faucet list, it could be much more with total dedication.

The problem here is: are there enough "good" faucets to make a list? Lets put some numbers:

- To earn 2$ daily (~ 0.00339 BTC, enough to live in some countries) working 10h/day (what is also good in many countries, specially working at home)  you need earn 34K satoshis hourly. Lets say, 100 faucets that pays 340 satoshi/hour as average.
- Faucets should be as easy as possible to claim, it is a matter of time: 10 hours -> 36,000 seconds, so you need earn ~10 satoshis/second. (claim 100 satoshis every 10 seconds is really posible) There are many faucets paying +500 satoshis and you do not need 50 seconds to claim.

I will try to build the faucet list: lets start with the faucets i already know as trustable:

• Faucet - Satoshis per claim
• Viral-Alert - 700
• Freebitco.in - 338
• Donaldcoin - 320
• sharefaucet - 250
• Faucetgame - 190

Considerations to include the faucet in the list:

- Trustable (paying without problems)
- The time the user need to load the page and claim < ( reward / 10 ) secs (Example: a faucet with a 300 satoshis reward must be claimed in less than 30 secs)
- No faucets with safety limits; we do not want loss time without reward.

Please, post the faucet you consider must be included here. I will update this post to add faucets meeting the requirements.

Do not post referal links, this thread is not to promote.

I will dedicate 3 days to test the list once the SPS is enough to reach the goal (2$ daily) and publish the results.

People trash faucets (yet, hang out here all day...?), saying they are a waste of time, but you're right, when you're already at the pc anyway, what's the deal?

It would be hard to achieve those kind of figures excluding ALL Faucets with, say, a safety limit. While I see the point in this "case study" in order to maximize rewards/minute, but that condition would eliminate pretty much all the good FaucetBOX sites (i.e. that group of new ones in Spanish that all give 500, etc).

Personally I don't make anything (substantial) from claiming faucets (Satoshi-CAD = not a good exchange rate haha) but I also spend a lot of time at a PC and I think they're just kinda...fun? :p I spend way more time on this forum than I ever thought I would. Hell, even the scammers add a bit of spice to it! (Lexiatel I know you and I are both seeing red over satheaven )

Lol, no kidding, but I had this feeling it was a scam, so I kinda stopped claim, but you did get one of the first claims, so that's cool I got nothing for my 200 collected.

I just do it all for fun though, so I'm not very mad at all. I just know one thing: get in there fast. The early bird gets the worm, the rest get scammed, lol.

Well I use faucets twice everyday. Except DonaldCoin and Hitpxl where I do login about 5 times everyday to claim. My suggestion is faucets are a time waster if you sit in front of PC all day and dont do anything else. A job would be better for you in this case.

On the bright side look at me. I am a college student and I use faucets, PTC sites for a short period of time and claim as much as I can form wherever I can.
It is like a part-time for me. My primary focus is my studies.

Well, on 2 on my faucets you can probably make $2 per day.

They're the most legit faucets and the longest running one which have those payouts.

Both faucets are game based, so it's not a"solve a captcha for dust" faucet type site
Ref earnings are 50%.

You don't get 522 every hour... you get 120 an hour (2 each minute), if you switched for the faster one, you can get 240 every hour. Since we're basing this off claiming every hour, the fast generator is best.

There are few faucets with good payouts, but i suppose you can waste half day for few bucks  Its good for people who are working in office and can do faucets 8 hours, but its not good for other people. Imagine, working 8-10 hours, than come home and spend more 8 hours for 1-2$? Not to say lots of dust payouts from faucets makes your tx bigger and don't be surprised one day when you pay very large fee for transaction. Every faucet should make some contest or lottery to be worth of time, or some games in faucets.

I think it's really possible to earn ~2 bucks from faucets daily. But it would be to much work for such small amount of money. It's bloody job and you soon get tired. And I hardly can imagine how is possible to live with 2$ daily
