Hmm.. Is there a way to "launch" this "coin" somehow ?  (linux)

If I do ./pascalcoin_daemon -r nothing happens at all.. and if I try to run this Lazarus thing it just says it cannot create a graphic window.. I have not gtk or window manager installed, I just want to run/sync a node from scratch to fool around a bit ?

I suppose you downloaded binaries from sourceforge.
I have a server (Ubuntu 16.04 64b) running this binary.

I executed it with command:
Code:
nohup ./pascalcoin_daemon -r -l &

Note: Param -l is to log what happens, it will generate a file log located at $HOME/PascalCoin folder

PascalCoin is the first crypto currency without need of historical operations to control double spend and with ORDINAL account numbers. YES! LIKE A BANK!

Also note that pascalcoin_daemon is just a daemon, does not show nothing on screen at all.

Is only usefull to be used as a JSON-RPC server on port 4003  (See Github wiki for commands)

No, that's not me, just someone who grabbed the name.

Very unlikely that a pool will be added from my side as this coin doesn't work like other coins

Would be great to see you supporting it though, the dev seems honest and competent and the project doesn't seem like the usual cashgrab unlike 99% of the newly launching projects.

Always good to mine on one of your pools.

Yeah I completely agree, compared to most devs this one is actually honest and hardworking and financial gain isnt the #1 goal but to make the coin work.

Every other coin out there is an ICO type of scams featuring the same stuff over and over again.

Hi all.

If you only got that one GPU then most likely non since you are solomining against almost 100,000 MHS of hashrate.

What about measures to stabilize prices and increase in capitalization like a DASH? Now there is a continuous dump mined coins ....

sorry. I don't like PoS measures to delibrately affect price.

we don't fear the continuous dump at all.

after many years in crypto, I am now falling love with coin like Pascal: fair, unique, and with potential.

let the market decide, and don't manipulate it. I think gold will shine sooner or later.

what do you think?

Even a good product don't sells itself in our time. We need to create the point of demand for the currency and marketing. Otherwise, it looks like something similar to several miners collect PascalCoin and sell fools who buy and even more do with the coin they want.

This coin has been - called Bitcoin. All that comes later should already sell themselves because they do not have a unique product, and competing with Bitcoin

i am willing to be a buying fool now.

changing to PoS will destroy the image of pascal somehow.

^ guys, I don't think you can use the latest pascal miner with nvidia graphics card.
There's a cuda-based pascal miner written by vorksholk, it's in the OP.

Already tried. Crashing at start up. Just benchmark works. But that miner looks like outdated. OpenCL should works also. It can find OpenCL devices.

I'm convinced that this is an actual good coin. Unique bank account like features, no historical records, Unique code, no premine, no selfish mining and no ico!

This will be a huge winner in 2017. Already up to 2600 sats from 500 3 days ago. This one will end up on Poloniex, I believe, if they are serious about adding all the good coins. A lot more users deserve to use this coin and Poloniex can make it happen.

Is this a private Blockchain or public, if it is public, I have a serious doubt banks will adopt it, what banks want is control and they will not get it on public blockchain, never
