I don't get it. What is the exact point/reason for Pascal Lite?

This question is best asked in the PascalLite thread. No one wants to take away from the hard work the Pascal dev has done. This thread is for PASC. We don't want to start a "which is better" thread. That doesn't help either coin.

volume is increasing and buy support is rising (not as much as last night, but coming up). If BTC dips, expect PASC to see some action.

what's up with the CPU's here?

my core2quad q8400 and xeon x3220 are just ~10% utilization (on socket 775 boards)

280x ~ 590 Mhs
390  ~ 770  Mhs
290x ~ 800 Mhs
480   ~ 810 Mhs
fury   ~ 900 Mhs

Hi,   have the same gpu's get 50% of that list.  how u do that?  Linux?, windows? bios update? driver? overclocking?

Testing windows 7/ windows 10/  amd driver 5.12

windows 7 64bit, stock bios, over clocked, driver 16.10.3

watch the power consumption & temps, nice to see high clocks but do take note & don't blow anything up ! Tongue

Amen to that agreed seeing ammount of power this is using and also temps on cards going to fire mode makes me wonder if this even worth mining with the power and temps getting to.

i mined scrypt algo years ago...i'm fine. thanks for the concern  Cheesy

true update and good concern and right places is much better for best results.

I made a video on how to run wallet on a mac. It's not native, but emulated. It works though.

I wonder how many would be interested in a Pascal Clone that focuses on CPU-mining? I think that it is possible to clone Pascal Coin/Lite and change it so the GPU and Pool-mining is not profitable. It obviously requires some tests and experiments. But it must be possible.

I believe PASC was originally CPU only, then 3rd party GPU miners were created. Maybe I'm wrong.

You are right the first month or two Pascal Coin was CPU-mined. Then came GPU-miners and Pools and pushed out the poor CPU-miners. It will happen again and again unless someone find a way to keep them out or to make it less profitable when the hash rate goes up.
