Dear 420,

You are currently making use of a system which will be deprecated on Wed 10 Apr 2013 12:00:00 AM GMT:

Generation of USD and CAD redeemable codes will not be possible due to legal issues

Please note that after this date, using this system won't be possible anymore and will instead lead to an error.

Thank you for your attention.

If you read, it's for the Mt.GOX USD "codes" you can generate for transferring to another Mt.Gox account.  People seem to "sell" the codes on mt.gox for paypal, etc.

I'm sure you can still move it to Dwolla -> Bank.

I found some good info regarding MtGox/CoinLab transition here. It's my understanding that, if you're a US customer, your account will be transfered automatically. Non US customers can access their accounts on MtGox as normal.

I wonder if coinlab has redeemable US codes. and if they require ID verification before any trading...probably. this is worrying

so is that it? will they lock my funds in there....perhaps unless I buy more btc and withdraw as btc?

It's almost like having the ability to withdraw and send money online without the need for government verification or interference is a big selling point of BTC or something.
