While cryptocurrency is a new platform for film funding, it works on a similar model to other investment models outside cryptocurrency where 100% of the first moneys in goes to the investors until the original investment is paid off. Thereafter, 50% of all profits—through to residuals—goes to the investors and 50% is divided among producers, distributors, and actors. For example: If we raise enough Ether to convert to $5M USD for the film. The film makes $20M USD. The original $5M USD plus $7.5M USD is converted back to Ether and the value of your VCAP increase.

• Development
The VCAP token was developed by Obsidian CryptoVault Technologies, LLC, a local development team in New York who have been working in the crypto space since 2014. The VCAP token itself is live and ready on the Ethereum blockchain. We plan to set aside funds to hire more developers once the production is underway. Our market resale price will not be attached to the success of Ethereum which is the great part about tokens. However, we get the benefit of voting options and smart contracts on top of the Ethereum platform. If for any reason the community decides after a few years to decouple from the Ethereum project, we are prepared to switch to other cryptocurrency.
