How much risk is coingamblingreviews taking. After 6 months, he risked 5 bitcoins to have a return of more or less 1.5 bitcoins. That does not look bad at all. But what I want to know is is there a risk of losing all your investment in 1 casino in a short time? If he lost all his 1 BTC investment on Kingdice then that will be 2/3 of his 6 month profit lost.

It is not likely but possible. One of the example is moneypot. It acctually used to be the 1 of the first 5 casino that he invested. However, after a few months of bad result, he pulled it out and that is an extremely good move because moneypot continue to lose money and in another 2 more months time, it lose like 800btc. The profit fell from an all time high of 1400btc to 400btc.

I did not know that you can pull out your bitcoin from the investment at anytime. I thought the site locks your bitcoins for a specific period until you are allowed to withdraw them. Like a time deposit in bank.

If you can withdraw from the investment at anytime then the risk could be worth it, if not then you should opt for shorter time locks.

Only Crypto-Games will lock in your investment for some time (charging a small fee to pull out early). All other sites are basically instant.

Betking is dead dude Oo . im not sure if investing in casinos is the best way for you...
maybe you should read all posts here before you invest
Actually betking is not dead, it just closed for now. They might be comeback because there are a lot people keep asking dean when betking will re-open. You can read on their ANN there.
@molsewid, why not try to follow coingamblingreviews's investment? Currently he is still investing in 4 different gambling sites.

Kingdice seems to be doing quite well. Going strong week after week. So far, there is only 1 week that is down by a huge drop, and even that it only take another week to recover back. That is simply amazing. Otherwise than that, it seems to have positive week one after another.

I think we are lucky the bankroll is so small there. But it grew about a bit this week.

Safedice is very consistent, I'm glad you are considering yolodice as well, hope this journey will continue and there would be new sites that will be added. I always make this thread as a reference for my investment also, thanks for the hardwork. Grin

This is a really nice topic, it seems that in 6 months the OP had a return of about 32% on his investment which is great, which means that he got approximately earnings of 5% every month that is way more than what you could get in the whole year if you had that money in the bank.

If things remain constant then my prediction is that at the end of the year the OP will earn 79% and that his final balance will be something around 9.1BTC.
The OP investment for me is quite successfull ,The have 5% of earning in each month not doing anything, Its like a passive earning. As time goes your investment will return to you and The profit will be attach on it. Its just thr risk of being scammed is the major disadvatage of investing even on a gambling site.

Exactly. So that is why the monthly % returns are really big. To compensate the risk...

it is not designed this way! so it is not compensating anything.
you are investing in a highly risky business but since the house edge ins the favor of the house and also the fact the people are greedy in gambling and they all end up losing at some point means the house will win and when you invest in the house bankroll you win too.

but this is only for long term and honest house not in short term or for dishonest cheating houses that report wrong results to pay less or not pay.
Certainly, in a any other investment program, it's better to do long term investment to avoid huge votality. Also, some short term investment were HYIP that seeks investors to scam, better to keep away on this. It's better to invest in gambling as many people seeks a game that would give them a chance to profit.

Casino bankroll investments are relatively safe, it's reliable in terms of expected value, so you don't need any exceptional skill to start getting profit. This is why it's currently the best option for new investors, as well as people who want to get profit without big risks. Altcoins are trickier, in trading someone has to lose in order for other people to get profit, so without luck and skill you can lose your investments very quickly. ICO's are also very risky, most of them are just scams, and those scammers will do anything to get people's bitcoins, and even escrow not always guarantee safety.

It's dangerous even if you know what you are doing. Have you heard about a term scamcoin? Why do you think some people refer to all new altcoins using this word?
There were so many cases of altcoin devs leaving a backdoor for themselves or disappearing after the ICO that it's not even funny. If you have the ability to mine new altcoins, do it by all means, but don't blindly buy new coins.

it is not designed this way! so it is not compensating anything.
you are investing in a highly risky business but since the house edge ins the favor of the house and also the fact the people are greedy in gambling and they all end up losing at some point means the house will win and when you invest in the house bankroll you win too.

but this is only for long term and honest house not in short term or for dishonest cheating houses that report wrong results to pay less or not pay.
Certainly, in a any other investment program, it's better to do long term investment to avoid huge votality. Also, some short term investment were HYIP that seeks investors to scam, better to keep away on this. It's better to invest in gambling as many people seeks a game that would give them a chance to profit.

HYIP - you might as well buy into the onecoin scam...
Gambling is not the only option for us to choose if we want to invest our money. Gambling is good in bringing us some extra money. But it is not enough. As you can see, investing in altcoin are more awesome and can bring remarkable results. However, it is very dangerous to the people who have no idea what they are doing. Onecoin is certainly scam and you will lose your money in this stupid ponzi coin

Yeah I agree casino bankroll investments are relatively safe and from my experience I have never earned any btc from actually gambling. And like you said altcoins take a lot of research and time probably too much for a new investor or an investor without a lot of spare time. So this is why I invest in SafeDice.

Also remember don't invest all your money in any one gambling site bankroll because in gambling anything can happen. Like if some whale wins big amount then your investments will go done a lot so if you diverysify your money into few good sites bankrolls then you losses will reduce.

I don't think so. I don't know what happened with a guy who has said "lost" his 78 btc investment in satoshi dice. Any update from that?
And look at these posts,
I highly advise you get your money off this site now....if you even can.

There's now two people who have had large sums stolen (~78 and ~48 bitcoin)
A hack by someone else seems unlikely considering you only need to look through this thread to see that that kind of money is never in their hot wallet.

The two accounts posting about the hack might be new btctalk accounts but I know each of them and can confirm they are telling the truth.

The fact support never replies to anyone, their hot wallet is always empty and they STILL don't have 2fa should put you off playing here.

The site has been sold many times over the years, each time at a loss to a new operator.

I warned everyone about this as soon as they opened the investment option.

It has now been confirmed by Eric Voorhees that he doesn't know the owners of the site.
So long term brand recognition means nothing.

There's still 2000 coins invested here. Get your money off while/if you still can.

This site is very likely a scam!

Yeah I think we should keep them to remember that it wasn't all positive!

Hopefully help others from making a bad decision.
Do you think there is something wrong with SatoshiDice investment?

Absolutely - something very strange is going on there. Very risky place to be.

We pulled out of them in the third month and wrote about it in the monthly report:

i think the news is not getting update or i am missed the news so i don't know anything about the update? but to getting loss for 78 btc, i think its really big for someone but its not be a problem if that person have much of bitcoin in his wallet so he don't gets crazy to see his loss. but still 78 btc is a big amount for me and i am not yet have in that amount.

Actually betking is not dead, it just closed for now. They might be comeback because there are a lot people keep asking dean when betking will re-open. You can read on their ANN there.
@molsewid, why not try to follow coingamblingreviews's investment? Currently he is still investing in 4 different gambling sites.

For me betking is dead... i have a new King. All hail the new king -> Kingdice Wink

Certainly investors are doing very well there!

Plot and table of current returns

I am so proud that I am one of the participants in yolodice  though it may not be the leading profit in the gambling industry but at least yolo its on the top 4, though it cannot be deny that most of the buyer customer was in the safedice, So I think need to watch this update about the investment in the gambling sites.
