Personally I am the first one to say that a lot people in the world and the us have had unjustified problems with the police and justice regarding a personal, consensual and victimless activities aka psychoactive intoxication. However criminals aka doing a non consensual victim full activity (physical intimidation, theft, murders, rape, human trafficking and other activities in the same veins) deserve to be fully rooted out of society.

Furthermore it's a fact that in America people from African descend are way way more likely to be involved in non consensual victim full activities than the average non African descend population. Furthermore if you compare to Asian one the difference is just staggering. Moreover there is a line of thought pushed by the obamas admin that it's justified because of social prejudice or poverty. In my opinion they aren't progressive enough, quite the opposite. The gun he had was one he stole from a burglary according to their reports. A burglary he managed to get away with despite police capabilities of finger printing a crime scene to see if the intruder was in the criminal database.
