You cannot force someone to take a bet, meaning directbet can't force you to make a bet that you don't want to, and you can't force directbet to make a bet that they don't want to.

If someone else is offering 2.0 on a bet, that is what they are offering, that doesn't mean that directbet has to offer that price also.
Kind of the mindset I have as well about sportbooks. A lot of books refuse to take bets at random times during events. A lot of them even stop accepting bets in the last 10 minutes of the game.

If you are looking for something that does accept bets throughout, then you need to go to the main odd providers and sportbooks like bet365.

I've no idea why someone would even publicly complain about this!  They're not under any obligation to take a bet from you, and you shouldn't place bets without accepting 'early cash in' might not be available and you'll be forced to see the bet through.

Also I don't think 1.01 odds is a mistake as such - its just basically them saying they don't want the bet.

Yeah, DB got a good house edge.

As expected. They after understanding that it was their mistake a bit , when odds on other sites were 1.9 and 2.0 they provided odds 1.01

Even if it was so, couldn't you just use another sportsbook to make the other bet?!

Yeah even though directbet charges a lot of juice (big house edge)
they tend to have a lot more betting options than most especially on the olympics.

I like how fast they responded also, trust me most books could care
less about your arb issues.

This case are actually an arbitrage betting , but directbet said it is not?
Did directbet actually know what the arbitrage it is? It is not about bet on different markets only.
But for me in this case op just disappointed on unavailable bet and feel cheated because they did not provide more bets . Not directbet fault at all in my point of view.
