go to that price would be a slow thing so i am sure many like me would sell their coins a lont time before that hapens, but surely i would bever sell all i have and also i will buy again in the dips.

Even that is going to be a slow thing that the price of bitcoin is going to fluctuate at that price. Still let's hope for that to happen. And if that is going to happen I am going to invest for buying house and lots. Because here in my country the longer it is passing by the price of lot is appreciating that's why I am going to invest in it.

i agree that it is not going to get there ever and this whole question is sort of pointless.
but also i said this because of the same thing you said here, it will take a long time (a slow rise) and so i would sell for profit and use the fluctiontions and the dips to buy back more or even the same amount and keep the profit.

sure, it is always a nice thing if you get some unexpected money and if it is a large sum even more. but 100 * $10 000 is just 1 Million dollars. Today this is not that much and first of all you need to have the 100 BTC, which is not easy.

I would keep holding. The only way im selling s if I get 1 million dollars of non-inflation adjusted dollars (the current purchasing power of one million) and after taxes and after only selling half of my BTC; so I need at least 100k per BTC, which will happen in 5 years.

If bitcoin reaches $10k, especially any time soon, that would mean the bubble burst and the US dollar crashed. Which could happen either intentionally by the federal reserve, or because those of us that are American citizens finally got smart, banded together and finally toppled that private bank.

I think if we don't sell our coins at the price of $10k then that would be the worst decision to make as after that price may dump extremely and would take long time to pump again.
