The state of California has officially ceased further plans to adopt cryptocurrency legislation this year. The lawmakers attempting to create their own form of the New York BitLicense with Bill AB-1326. The legislation will remain untouched until next year, when authorities may revisit the Bill and try to introduce it again.

I hope it's the start of a new trend in which all the states that wanted to copy the bit-license decide to drop their plans. New York must have lost out on the tax revenue it could have collected from the Bitcoin related businesses that closed, or moved elsewhere when it introduced its bit-license. The other US states might realise they will make more money without a bit-license than with one.

Hopefully by next year bitcoin will have exploded into a globe phenomenon and they will be powerless to stop it...... mawh mawh  Cheesy

This is very surprising to see. I am going to stay tuned to see what comes next. I’ve tried to stay up to date with any laws that are being put into effect that have to do with bitcoin.
