Hi,
Jonathan From Bitwage here. We have admittedly spent more time building our presence on /r/bitcoin over bitcoin talk (look us up on /r/bitcoin). We have been around since July of 2014 and we enable anyone to receive their wages through our service without requiring their employers or clients signing up. In the US or in Europe, this typically means receiving your wage in Bitcoin, Gold, Silver or some other foreign currency (not many people use us to receive in USD from the US lol). The main value add is that we can do next-day payouts without limits into Bitcoin, we reduce the risk of your bank account getting closed down because you interacted with bitcoin, or you just want to skip out on banking altogether. We have partnerships with Xapo and Uphold for our debit card and wallet services.
If you are an international worker, our service provides a huge value add. You are able to receive your wages much faster and cheaper through alternative means, and your employer or client does not even need to change any of their processes. For instance, Brazilians go from a 2 week process that costs up to 8% to a next day process that costs as low as 1%, all while receiving Brazilian real into their bank account. People are getting paid through these services from companies and organizations such as Google, GE, Upwork, Gigster and even the US Navy.
We also post stats on user growth here at
https://www.bitwage.com/usage. Once you sign up and have performed a payroll, you can see more information, such as user growth and MOM statistics.
You can check out a cool video about our invoicing service on our youtube channel here:
