The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I would choose blockchain from between these two. Xapo doesn't hit me as the most secure exchange. In fact, they can be the next victim of the hackers. Blockchain is a lot older than Xapo too.
XAPO is not an exchanger, just see their website title that it's mentioned they're an online wallet provider and vault, and it's have nothing to do with exchangers thing, and keep in mind that hacker not targeting only exchangers site but also everything which seems vulnerable for them

Which tastes better, a rock or a stick?

Both are terrible options (both OP and what I've written above). You don't hold your own private keys and you're just as prone to 'hacks'* as any exchange is. Use pocket change or faucet money on these but anything of value you should store either on a paper wallet, hardware wallet or for ok security your encrypted phone or a computer. Just stop using online wallets actually. Who has free money to spare? I know I sure don't.

*hacks may actually end up being blockchain.info / Xapo

For me the blockchain is better because its simpler and also has a better overview, it of course stays a online wallet but its a good one if you are asking me.
Blockhain is also one of the biggest online wallets and most likely also the safest.

Hello friends
Which is more safe xapo or block chain wallet? And why?

Personally, I use Blockchain and I have no problem with it but just recently someone informed me of the fact that XAPO does not charge transaction costs when transferring coins. I think thats an advantage over Blockchain...

Blockchain without any doubts, I used it back in the days and I can say that I'm pretty happy with them, they are pretty secured and also offer a nice support system.
The website is nice what is already said here above plus they are offering nice options these days.

Why not we could have both XAPO and blockchain wallets.

Usually I do not suggest online wallets, still if you prefer to access your bitcoins from multiple devices (like using bitcoin from mobile and computer) and not fan of hardware wallets, you can go for online wallets like Xapo / blockchain.

Prime advantages of blockchain over Xapo :
1. Allows you to access private-keys of your addresses.
2. You will be able to sign a message from your addresses.

Prime advantages of Xapo over blockchain :
1. No tx fees for sending out bitcoins.
2. New deposit address for every time.
3. Xapo to Xapo will be instant and also using email IDs (similar to paypal).

I generally agree with Lauda saying that online wallets should be avoided, at least for putting large amounts on it.
But I think it's perfectly fine to hold small amounts of coins on them, just not more than what you could afford to lose.

If you're trying to save coins without using them, I'd put them in a paper wallet.

If you have a small amount for spending, I think blockchain.info or xapo are perfectly fine.
i do agree with that point but sometimes we need to access our wallet without need to install an app so the online wallet is the solution,as you say putting all of the bitcoin in an online wallet is such a bad thing so only small part of all bitcoin would be fine,we can't really avoid online wallet but we want to avoid the lose

Hello friends
Which is more safe xapo or block chain wallet? And why?

Both are unsafe as they are online wallets and using online wallets is not recommended unless you are keeping very small amounts for daily uses.
Desktop wallets are much better If you know what you are doing , Paper/Hardware wallets are definitely the best so yeah... It's pretty much depends on the amount you are storing and the purpose .

Bitcoin was made to you be your own bank, so... Trust no one! Try to use a hardware wallet!

Well, never used Xapo but I'm using blockchain.info with a small amount of course, more easily!

You're telling me you honestly don't have your phone on you when you're needing to spend bitcoins? I lost money from blockchain.info and I've avoided all online wallets ever since. It's a non-issue for anyone. If you use an online wallet you might as well be keeping your money on an exchange because they have the same security levels and will be hacked

I guess there's no safe in that too web wallets because its online wallets and anytime they will be down so you can access to it but I much prefer to use blockchain than xapo for storing some coins in that wallet, though xapo is trusted by many users here and secure also but I'd just using blockchain ever since I came here in bitcoin world.

Transactions for Xapo users is free. Xapo covers transaction fees for users by money that they getting from their paid services like debit cards. Same situation with transactions on Coinbase.

Not exactly that. Xapo earn money when users buy  debit cards and also from various card fees. From part of this money Xapo can cover transaction fees and also have profit. Debit cards users don't pay for other people transaction, they only paying for debit card.
