hi i want to start providing loan business as micro loan service ..but i don't know how can i take form user member account as collateral and secure it to me and once load paid i can return .. I quite possible that what ever the login detail user provide to me for collateral it can be possible that he can chage the password and agaun  gain acces to hi account ..

so how can we use as member account as collateral and secure it so that he can't do anything to get his account back

I think better for you to visiting another topic of loan service, it's possible for you for changing their password for a while until the time of payback is coming but yo can see about the loan topic and reading some of the content in them.

Best and easiest way is to contact an escrow provider for such collateral. They would change password and hold that particular account so everything would be smooth. If ever the owner tries to re-claim the account by email, AFAIK it would be locked up automatically and it takes a long time before he would be able to access his/her account again.

it is easy. just make a contract about your deal that you will going to change the password of the collateral account as a part of your business safety protocol. change temporarily his/her password and email. if the client agree on your terms. then i think there is now way to claim it again by the owner once he is not paid to your loan. i hope it helps on your future loan service. thanks

I have provided some loans with bitcointalk as collateral before. So far they trusted me enough to give me access. I always ask a signed message as a solid proof that I have the accout as collateral so if ever they made attempt to recover it without him paying me then I have the signed message as a form of contract. I then just change the email and password to a secure one and keep the details on a secure place.

first, don't forget to ask a signed message from an address the borrower posted atleast few months ago. once the account is in your possesion, be sure to change the password, e-mail address and the secret question and answer if there is any.

well, the first and most recommended suggestion from me is do not accept bitcointalk accounts as collateral, in most cases you'll get default by the client. and then you'll face problem by selling accounts, as selling account now adays very tricky.

Yes, it can.. even I think you should take the account your self, take all account details, password, email, sign message and if you get the private key it will be even better,
and of course you need to change all details to secure the account. and one more important thing get the sign message publicly.

Yes, it can.. even I think you should take the account your self, take all account details, password, email, sign message and if you get the private key it will be even better,

thank you for providing this information quite helpfull ..yes signing message is publicly ..but when he provide the collateral and member account login detail do i need to get this in signed message if so what is format  and this can't be publicly it suppose to me pm ..let em know
