I'm an Avalon customer now:

Order in the 66xx range, using EMS to USA
I'm really hopeful that BitSyncom has decided to reinvest most of their profits into providing excellent shipping with insurance, higher quality customer service and ample tech support in the future for their products. I suspect that is the reason they charged a higher price on these batch 3 units. As a customer, I'd like to see them publicly reply to, and attempt to resolve the missing order posts, the posts about trade ins, and maybe provide those folks some tracking numbers. I am happy to wait an extra 2 weeks for those people to get their unit shipment problems and technical problems resolved. =)
Thanks for doing this BitSyncom.... Please proceed to set a good example for the bitcoin community.... show the world how to run a professional business without participating in any arbitrage schemes. =) Thanks! Show the world how you can make sure every customer problem is resolved in a reasonable time AND you make a profit while you do it....

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the order number is so high because people create orders but don't pay for them, so the order number goes up even though no order is actually placed. |

Do not think order number has a direct relation to how many sold. Also you will notice that the 1000th place digit is also thinking. It is hard to say how the order numbers are generated. |

Not very clear what you are asking. An user may have multiple order on separate line, if s/he has placed separate orders, and the list is sorted by order number. Why are people interested in which user has what order ? My intention for this list is two fold: (1) See how many orders there are and when things start shipping, may be track and see how the shipment is progressing (2) May be Avalon will find it useful, or users will find it useful to quickly lookup there order from here whenever they need - which will increase visibility between Avalon and people who ordered them. |

As per the counting, I have counted them at the beginning of my post. If everybody is kind enough to at least provide first two digits of the order number, that helps a lot. Not really. As far as I know batch 2 starts shipping around mid April, and batch in beginning of May - so couple of weeks difference. |

Avalon batch 3 is expected to be somewhere between 36 TH - 50 TH. Add to that the 39TH of batch 2 and we will have a nice spike on difficulty only with Avalon units deployment. |

For that, a 10% coverage of all orders is more then enough. Although it would be interesting to see how a bulk order is filled during the shipping process (i.e. shipped in one go vs. partially, as units are finalized) ... Thus is would be nice to have one of the bulk purchases captured here. |

For example, I sent one EMS to Sweden on day 13, on day 14 their custom already release the package, I guess today or tomorrow the person gets the package. I am bumping this thread so those who begin to receive their batch 3s will be able to find it. Also, if anyone is a batch 3 customer and hasn't provided order details yet, now is the time! Batch 2 appears to be done shipping in the next day or two, so batch 3 should start any day now (in my opinion!). Let's start reporting in here, and only here, as we get tracking and deliveries. That way there aren't 2 different threads and spreadsheets with mismatching info.

Received 3 today. Order 45xx. All seem to be stable so far, hashing at 80 or so overclocked and flashed with ckolivas firmware. My invoice showed the total number of bitcoins paid, but someone hand wrote "$1500 USD" next to it, which is different from what Tyger's said. The other two were hashing right next to the router. I have moved this one closer to the router and it seems to be doing fine. Need to buy a stupid antenna for it I guess. |

Care to share the duties/taxes you paid ?
Is it true that a company named Loomis is delivering instead of DHL ?
In a lot of locations the final delivery is done by Loomis. There is no duty but you will be charged HST or GST/PST depending on the destination province or territory. There is also a small service charge added on by DHL for brokerage / processing. One thing to keep in mind is that they hold the delivery at the local depot until payment is received so it is best to track the shipment online and once the shipment arrives in Canada call DHL, verify where the unit is, and either pay over the phone or arrange to have the shipment held at the local depot and go in person to pay and pick up the unit. I did the latter, and immediately after they told me it was at the local depot, went there paid and picked up the unit. They had not scanned the unit yet when I arrived so they did all the scans while I waited, I paid and picked up the unit. The time saved could easily amount to 1 BTC or more in mining income. |

I'm also Order Number 91xx, but I paid on 23 or march or 22nd. Sorry to hear that man, but you can see my #61XX order as well, they ship the units together, so I think the lowest number counts. Here's how I ordered. Somehow I got onto the ordering page 10 mins before it actually was open to public, no idea how, but I was clicking like a madman. I immediately ordered the 4x 4 modules avalons. I started thinking and after a couple of minutes, thought what the hell, let's buy a 3 module one too, maybe I'll sell it afterwards (#61XX). Then my friend calls up and says can you buy one for me too? That was the day after, and somehow I still could buy one (#91XX). Another friend of course wanted the already ordered so I just resold it to him at my cost. So actually, I should have had my 4x 4 module units before they got theirs, if you follow the order numbers. But I figure Avalon considered it fairer that first the weaker ones have one week head start. Then the 4 module ones get shipped. If you order multiple of some kind of configuration, probably the lowest number counts. But I don't know, I am just a very happy to have received all the units which are running way faster than advertised. So thank you Avalon. And I hope you get yours asap! |

At this point I do not know who is scummier. A completely incompetent BFL that may be a ponzi or an Avalon team that obviously STOLE everyone's money to build their own mining machines and then sold the mined bitcoin to build everyone's PREpaid machines and delivered at a point where difficulty is 3X the difficulty that was used to price the machines.
I rather like Sonny better, at least we all know he is a crook and do not have to put up with a self absorbed dwarf that pretends his thefts are "all in the interest of bettering the network". Yifu, you on one large piece of shit.

Seems 3 module miners without PSU are put in lowest priority. If you want to overclock your 4 modules machine. It is better to use a PSU no less than 1kW. Otherwise it will not running stable or even cause disasters. Some people have stated that batch 3's have a slightly different design? I have a 4 module on order and i'm wondering what 1000W+ psu's can fit in it? That is not good: My 85 GH avalon arrived yesterday, but my second order (65GH) without PSU avalon not yet eventhough I received email saying it is completed too. I think i am in limbo or samething went wrong. I called to DHL and they told, they have received shipping info, but not item so far. Does anyone know who to contact. |

I am having DHL tracking number since 4.8.2013 without any update.
It says:
1 Shipment information received BEIJING & SURROUNDING AREA - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC 16:43
But since than no change. Anyone experience the same? Should I contact someone from Avalon?
That is little unusual - other shipments through DHL took on average 3 business days.
