Search for the next Bitcoin?

Not sure if this is the place for this, but I'm wondering about the "contest?" going on to find the next Bitcoin.  Can anybody fill me in on this...what are the parameters, etc.  For example;  If I think it might be a coin called "blue", can I just buy that one or do i need to find a matching one for every letter of the alphabet or do I need to match it in some other way like 3 of a kind or something?
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this post.  If somebody has any direction for other places where this is being discussed, I would really appreciate direction as to where to go.  Thanks again for any info you might be able to offer

the next bitcoin is bitcoin itself, bitcoin is not done yet, plenty of things need to be accomplished yet, when those thing will be fixed another big pump will begin be ready when this will happen you will be rich!

I don' think there will ever be another BTC, so you need to have a core position, But I can see one privacy-based coin (perhaps Z-cash if executed well) and perhaps ethereum classic (or core?) becoming highly valuable ecosystems

As an privacy based go to currency it will be Dash or Monero. I belive the latter has the best chance at following anything along the lines of Bitcoin. there won't be another bitcoin though, there will be succesful blockchain2.0 and to pick one or even a few would be a waste of time. My favourite will be LISK.

I think there will be a coin that surpasses Bitcoin. Just has to have something developed by someone who really thinks outside of the box. I don't think it's Ethereum. It seems that its success has to do with the money behind it.

Monero is following the same formula as Bitcoin. I wish I could have seen it sooner. Slow development, penetrating the darkmarket is a preferred currency, whales and "who's who of crypto" accumulating in secret. I wish there will be another good time to get in. I have missed this.

people will says Monero, ETH or perhaps ETC for the next bitcoin because have strong community or etc but i personally won't considers altcoins could be the next bitcoin and altcoins could not be the replacement of bitcoin and my answers is there is no other croptocurrency could be the next bitcoin currently

The ETC does not have a big community as the ETH. The fate of the ETC is controlled by the DAO hacers.
So I think it will take some time to get trust.
