Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

nVidia cards are not worth running because they are so slow you'll use more electricity than you generate in bitcoins.

Hi,
maybe your video card driver is not up to date? (or any other driver in your system), so that it affect you system capabilities to recognizes your graphic card...maybe...

the thing is that Nvidia (and particularly old ones like the 9500GT) are not worth of mining on them, because you won't mine enough to compensate the cost of electricity by the coin production..
Amd cards are the best for mining (and by far) for the number of cores they got.
