That's nice idea, but you need to add a useful tools and also the cost for custom t-shirt is pretty expensive AFAIK.
Put a price custom which people can see the price for their custom goods.

yes i think its a good idea for you to add this custom. i think you can take a look on zazzle.com maybe after you will have an idea to make this custom looks like, they use this service for their member and the member can make their own design and sell it into their potential buyer.

The idea itself is good and will be successful if you can get a user friendly tool developed for your customers to make their custom design.

To get somehing like that launched, you'd need to invest in some good advertisin as well and since you're going to accept Bitcoin, you might as well advertise on some Bitcoin related websites.
