Isnt for me Site under heavy load. This is part of the new DDOS protection in place. I've been testing it for about a week and believe I have it on a suitable settings. All IP bans have been lifted as sometimes testing it gave some false positives that where banned. And the site is back up. Cheers, RR |

MtRed is making some changes for the next month. The biggest one being we are temporally disabling proportional rewards. All rewards will be PPS based for a short test period.
We are also looking at MergedMining, and will have a test pool setup for MM in the next week.

Red, did you get the msg about the much needed update to namecoind? http://dot-bit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2182#p2182 That goes for anyone else that may be solo mining or mining thru namecoind at some of the smaller pools as well..... |
If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

As of right now, NMC is 0% fee proportional. |

As of right now, NMC is 0% fee proportional. We are asking about BTC. Learn some reading comprehension, provide clarification, and then update us and your website accordingly. I just noticed that MtRed requires 120 confirmations for NMC blocks. Every other site I have used says NMC blocks mature instantly. Is this an oversight / programming issue, or is there some reason MtRed is requiring 120 confirmations?

I don't believe it to be instant (faster indeed, but not instant). I am looking at waving the confirmation period for miners with a minimum donation percentage. Waiting to see what the crowd says. |
