In my steemit group in facebook a lot of people is always getting a payment from steemit, maybe you need to reading more about how their system is work, and my recommendation is joining in steemit group will be better.

I don't play steemit but some my friend has got payment from there and i also think they are ponzi so already tell them to not invest at there for a long time period.

well i just tried steemit for a few times,making few posts and got the steemit dollar as a reward even still too small and can't even request a payout but they're not forcing me to invest and seems without investing you could earn a money from there with hard effort,it's just my review,but the system behind it,i don't know what it's exactly and how they can pay their users,to be honest i'm still confused
but it's still up to you whether your concluding steemit as ponzi or not

I would not say its a ponzy, but for sure initial mining was hard for 99% ppl, how they call it now ninja mining

I don`t understand full concept of it work, waiting for a mined coin if powered down 2 years for full cash out as a way to steep, maybe its thair way to keep price high and a way to provide income to ppl posting on it

I sow more and more usage, still need time to decide if they system is fair and not ponzy in nature

I haven't gotten any payout from them yet as I have created only a single post with only a few steemit dollars and upvotes. As I see it, people with enough steem power that upvotes your post would grant you something for that post, which is what they call steemit dollars. This is then divided into two parts: 50% automatically becomes added to your steemit power and the remaining is what's available for you to cash out. Also, I don't see any signs of it being a ponzi since it doesn't really force you into investing something, just put your post there and you can earn good money if people like it.

It seems like the only people whom made money on steemit were insiders - posting articles hyping and shilling the coin/platform as a Facebook replacement.

@OP Steemit is powered by Steem Coin, which is an altcoin. you can get your payment via bittrex, steemit balance can be withdraw to bittrex exchange.
so far it is paying and everyone getting paid.

don't say anything none sense if you don't know about steemit.. steemit is not an investment site or something like that.
it is a free social networking type sites where people can posts and can upvote other's posts. and everyone get higher quality upvotes he'll earn steems. this is completely free of cast process and steemit don't require any investment, fee and charges etc.

That's right, steemit is just any social media is offering payment via their altcoins (steemit), but I think to play in steemit is very hard today. because too many whales in them (whale of steemit)

Maybe OP just seeking some strong proofs of people getting payed for their effort on steemit,  and really i see some of my friends earning and getting there payout their but not totally 100% since it was stated at their rules that other half wi became steem power wich you cam use in future,  and if OP still confused and didn't get the info that he wants maybe he should pass that site and move on,  dont go for something you dont know OP.
