Please evaluate these computer specs:

AMD FX-8320 8-CORE Black Edition 3.5GHz CPU
Turbo Core 4.0GHz
AMD Radeon HD 7950 with 3GB Ram
Dual Channel 8GB 1600MHz RAM
1TB SATA 3 7200rpm HDD
24x Dual Layer DVD BURNER
Onboard USB 3.0 & SATA 3 6Gb/s
Gigabit LAN
6CH HD Audio,
Bluetooth v2.0
Multi Card Reader

Are these good for LTC mining? What changes need to be made?

Any help is appreciated!

Hello,

as far as I know, other parts than GPU don't matter a whole lot (please correct if I am wrong here). I just bought the 7950 myself (2 in fact), and can say that it seems to be a very good card for mining Litecoins.

I would just make sure that you can add a 2nd graphics card later if you want to. Take this into account with power supply considerations.

Also I would say that your computer case is one of the most important parts. Temperatures of your graphics cards can rise a lot with mining, so you need a case which has good airflow.

Will do small programming tasks cheaply in exchange for BTC. Check out my thread or PM me!
