Read from this:

http://www.bitcoinrumors.com/2013/03/27/cedartec-new-manufacturer-of-asic-mining-device-is-it-spam/

Have you heard of Cedartec? Anybody can confirm this is not scam? They are from Lebanon.

Interesting!  Smiley Have a look at their status page:

http://www.cedartec.net/status.php

This gives an interesting breakdown. They haven't started mass production yet, apparently. My hunch is that until they show progress pictures then there's very little to go off other than their word. One thing to consider: they only accept BTC as payment; the lack of paypal or another hard currency form is a little concerning, and I certainly hope this won't be a 'take the money and run' operation. A word about ASIC miners: either you get them early and mine-mine-mine or you don't bother; the difficulty spike will be tremendous.

As they say, the only people that make money in the goldrush are the ones that sell shovels!

Wow.  There progress is in the form of a to-do list that is being checked off and *drumroll* they have everything done except the stuff that matters, like the chips.

and *drumroll* THEY ARE TAKING ORDERS!!! and they are allowing a maximum of only 3 so that means that:

The most each person is going to be ripped off is $3k!

Its  a comparative bargain.  Some of the best non existent hardware offered today.

So many companies have closed down in less than 3 months, that it's almost like a bet..

We are still waiting to see what will happen with BL.. and they have been around for quite some time now..

order page reads:

Quote
Please read before ordering:

  - We only accept bitcoins as payment. The price is changing every 24 hours.

  - Due to the variation of the btc exchange value, we can only give you 24 hours to make your payment,
    otherwise your order will expire.

  - Caused by the short time till the production starts, we are not able to take refund requests. We build by order
    and must calculate  accurately.

Well spotted! I'm just learning about bitcoin and one golden rule that I've learned is: hashpower is proportional to fan count!

I'm hitting up ebay as we speak I plan to put 128 panaflo fans in my wardrobe, taking clothes out first of course, and will spray whole wardrobe black for even extra hashpower. I will put the finished rig on ebay! (pickup only).
