Using ELECTRUM (BTC) on OSX

How do you create a new wallet?

I want a to make/get a new seed

IF the electrum severs go down, how do you run your own server to rebuild from scratch/seed?

I am using OSX

I tried from the command line but it did not work

Thanks in advance

Also any views on ELECTRUM

as to security etc etc,

I've used Electrum OSX!
Your wallet is located in your home directory in ~/.electrum
The wallet file is called 'electrum.dat'
If you want to create a new wallet (which will come from a new seed), you can use the terminal to rename the current wallet so the next time you run electrum, it will create a new wallet.
ie:
Code:
mv ~/.electrum/electrum.dat ~/.electrum/electrum.dat.old

So you could basically just rename the wallet file that you want to use.
