Poloniex exchange to ditch 27 altcoins
The cryptocurrency exchange has announced delisting of a number of the least popular coins and tokens. It used to happen before but this time, the list is really long.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

It is common sense. Maybe they had listed these alts in the belief that they had some potential and that volumes would pick up. Once that didn't happen, it is inevitable that these coins get delisted.
