LOL!  Or I would add, are you gonna push the list down, adding single digit prices at the top if it crash? Grin

What are those "odd" milestones, anyway?
EUR 100s? RMB 1000s?
And wouldn't they have a floating value compared to USD as well?

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

Billion dollar market cap is a pretty big milestone (that's between $91 and $92 currently)

Parity with ounce of silver, gram of gold, etc. are other milestones

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Sure, but this list is about the R10 series.

The dates next to each milestone are the most recent date on which the Mt Gox weighted price for the day has never fallen below the milestone.

The reason I am marking R10 numbers is because it's a convenient way of measuring how quickly the price is traversing each order of magnitude. Humans do not intuitively understand exponential growth, so this is a way of linearizing into a form we do intuitively understand.

Everything older than a year is bold. No meaning other than that.

Are these points on an exponential curve?
Yes. They are evenly-spaced intervals on an exponential curve.

How can you draw that curve?

Didn't see the milestone. "LTC surpasses BTC when it goes to Gox."

Waiting for that one.

Cheers

Interesting.  It would have been nice to buy at a dollar.  Oh well. Wink  I guess it could still be early in the game though.

I was thinking about this thread recently. Thanks for the bump!
Things were boring for a while so I got out of the habit of updating.

Also, you're freaking me out with that low post count.
