Hello Bitcoin users and forum members

I write this post to warn you about a big scam wich make many victims these days.

Many of you know IndexExchange.com (ex Casale Media - www.casalemedia.com) - it is one of the top 5 worldwide advertising networks
Casale Media was rebranded to IndexExchange (http://www.marketingmag.ca/tech/casale-media-rebrandsandrew-casale-takes-over-as-ceo-136052)

Two months ago I received an email from "publishers@casalemedia.support" (http://www.casalemedia.support) with an invitation to join as a publisher because I have one website with high traffic (www.BitcoinSpace.net)

I applied, and I was accepted.
They sent me a link (http://www.casalemedia.support/publishers/pb29158.php) to my control panel with my username/password.
I had inserted their tags on my websites and started to generate revenue.

I started in June, and I made 1800$.
They have payment terms NET30 so I continued to keep the ads on July too when I made over 5000$
They "offer" a very high eCPM value: 1.05$

I was expecting the payment starting with August 1, but the payment did not come.
I have contacted them via email, they reply after a few days and asking me if I sent them the invoice with the amount they own me.
I thought that they are legit Casale Media (the use the name, the logo, the address, etc.) and I attached the invoice via email.
After that ... no answer .

I have contacted them multiple times since then and ... no answer.
I started to search, to get more info about Casale Media.
I have found only good reviews (because I was reading about the real Casale Media), and I continued to keep their ads on my websites even I was sceptical ...

Recently I saw that meany people are scammed by these idiots.
I have written an email to IndexExchange and tell them about this fraud.

Sad ... but ... real: there are too many scammers in this world!

Here is one of their tags :

Code:
<!--/* CasaleMedia Tag v2.8 */-->
<script src="http://tag.contextweb.com/TagPublish/getjs.aspx?action=VIEWAD&cwrun=200&cwadformat=160X600&cwpid=558088&cwwidth=160&cwheight=600&cwpnet=1&cwtagid=255358"></script>
<!-- END TAG -->

I attached 2 photos (I have more) with the fake website control panel, with revenue.

I think it also should be posted in Scam accusations. Your loses are very big and meaningful. We need to spread warning about this scam, for that others would avoid it. I'm really hate to see another scam - it looks like we can't trust in anything on internet.

I got the email, too.
After that, I read reviews about the advertising network and read some scam accusation about them.
I just ignored the email.

The HTML code to insert in the page, links to the page http://contextweb.com/ which is an advertising network. It means, they earned profit by displaying advertising from another advertising network.
You should contact the support of contextweb.com oder PulsePoint.

Maybe you got that email (with the invitation) later when there are already some reports about them...
The original Casale Media (now Index Exchange) is one of the top advertising companies.

I already contacted Context Web/Pulse Point

I was asking myself if there is any legal action wich we can take against this fraud.
I found this (and I have submited a complain for online fraud): https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx
Maybe someone with some experience in this field can guide us (we are many victims of this fraud).

I see they changed the hosting now  (http://whois.domaintools.com/casalemedia.support) and they want to continue to scam people ...

That sounds too good to be true. After a few days with such a profit would be suspicious.
That would be better than adsense.

Interesting .... http://whois.domaintools.com/casalemedia.xyz

I was asking myself why IndexExchange support does not reply to any of my emails?
I think they should reply.
When someone use your personal/business data) to comit a fraud you must take legal actions.

I dont think IndexExchange run the scam.
IndexExchange fault is that they dont care and don't take any action against this fraud.
They should reply to emails and apologize ...
I have reported this to cyber crime unit, I hope they will investigate and find these bastards.

well, i am sorry that you lost your time and did not get paid, at least you weren't directly stolen from.....these guys will be caught pretty quick, the whole idea as a scam is stupid.  if they never tried to charge you anything then they either made their money by using another ad network and feeding the ads to you guys or directly charging businesses to place ads.  either way, i assume that this was not all done in Bitcoin and there are countless ways to track them and find them.  they have literally put tracks all over the internet with the ads themselves.  whether you get anything from the fact or not, they will be caught
