WHen I'm start to gamble, I'm set my profit and loss so I can't control myself and will no regret if I'm face lossing.
Actually it depend on each subject since it's easy to say because you never experienced it yourself for example

I can, most of the time. Becoming greedy only happened once for me but it was the biggest loss I had (over $65) in a few minutes only. I have now learned my lesson and controlling myself isn't a problem anymore.

That is a very good practice. A lot of people unable to do it and end up gambling more than they can afford and once they lose, they had hurt those around them and there is no way of turning back.

I don't think control has anything to do with if you will do well or badly. It is just luck so take what you willing to lose and go for it !

By controlling yourself mean you have set some limit to bet , some limit on how much you have to stop when lost.
Of course it is effected quiet a lot to your gambling result as it affected to your decision too.
When you gamble without control you are guaranteed to lost a lot in the long term , but with control you could minimize it or even get some profit.

Of course I do control myself when I'm playing gambling. I used to do YOLO bets back then when I feel like I'm about to win after having a ridiculous loss streak. I learned my lesson not to do that anymore. Control is the key in gambling. Without control, you're just like tossing your money into the gambling site. It takes time to actually learn how to control yourself and your bet amount but you'll eventually reach that point.

When you gamble and you can't control yourself then my best suggestion is stop gambling rather than you bet all of your fortune, so my suggestion is go to see shrink to heal your addiction, and do it now, the faster the better before your addiction get worse

Until you don't learn hard lessons in gambling you won't know how to control yourself. I also was playing confused and messed up gambling at start but after losses reached to know how to play in correct ways. Now I have full control over my emotions and mind whenever and wherever I am gambling so results are much more positive.

well for sports gambling, you can always read expert advises about the sport that you' re trying to bet on. it's pretty easy to control yourself for these types of gambling games. i think it's harder to control yourself in casino games like poker because it is you who's actually involved in the game. i've tried playing in a casino and time flies pretty fast if you're enjoying what you're doing there.

Yeah right of self-control is indispensable in order to take the right decision. If we can control ourselves we can play with a good gamble. In addition to control themselves could abstain from harmful addictions.

I've tried gambling once and it's very addicting specially every times you win. You can't stop because you are enjoying it, you can't stop until your bitcoin vanished because you have lost it all on gambling and you will earn bitcoin again and again for you to spend it again on gambling because it is really fun. But to be not addicted to it anymore, I suggested you to not to play it again anymore, because it will just tempt you to do it again. Gambling doesn't have any great effect on our daily life, only worst. So it is better if you are going to keep away from it.

In spite of the benefits of self controlling in gambling still sometimes I loose control under unexpected situations. I will say in gambling when someone gamble for long periods then he comes under control of the events or results what appear during gamble. In normal situation I do controlled gamble but still can not control 100 % and I see this normal behavior towards in gambling.
