It we have no control into something, it will make our life really difficult not just in gambling. Like if we have no control in spending our money, we might buy things we don't need necessarily. Actually, control is the goal in my opinion. The key is self-discipline. If you know what could happen if you didn't behave yourself and go with your wants, then probably you're getting addicted to it and it could be a disaster on your end.
