In gambling to control your self from betting more and making your self broke, I would suggest you to have a limit. For example, before you play, set yourself a limit for just "lets say $1000" then or get $1000 in your wallet and give it to your wife/friend so you wont be tempted to play more. if you win more its your choice to play more but if your $1000 is gone you'll just leave because you have no money on you left.

As much as possible we really need to control our emotion when we do gamble in the gambling. Because this is the major reason why most of the gamblers went to losses of money. So if you can't get away to control yourself much better not to play in the games.

Yes, Most of the gamblers are not satisfied with what they had and want to make profit continuously. Only this attitude they are going to lose. Set a limit, stay in control and ignoring this switch of activity as you can. Play safe of the game with analytic and strategic.

In my opinion I would say there is no strategy, it all depends in your luck. but if you are really good at playing and like poker and etc.. and enhance your skills in playing. that would be a strategy to win.

That kind of thinking makes us lose in gambling, it's not luck what is important but the skills. Of course we all start as newbie and we do acquire skills easily, we have to work for it by learning from our experience. If gambling is only based on luck, I would say gambling is not fun anymore.

I completely disagree with that statement, if that is the case then we all have the problem with gambling. Although most of us are losers but I still believe that majority of gamblers are enjoying what they are doing. When I am playing at dice site for example when I'm at the moment of my momentum is on the other level my greediness will strike suddenly. It will trigger my emotion and my mind to agreed what inside my feeling to win more but in the end the result is bad. When you're playing perfect until that part with rapid losses, I hate most that part. Oh well it's gambling we can't do something to win over the house unless you know how.

As for me I when I gamble I really think of it as a quest of my instincts. With that i may somtimes can and cant control myself which differs on the situation given. When Im just betting or gambling on lower rates ill come to the point that i cant control myself since i will depend that Im just giving away little amount and wanting to wanglt more. But with the higher rates i really can control because in thay instances  i already briefed myself to limit and control cause I know where ill end up if i dont.My suggestion for you is to kniw your limits because in gambling its your decision whom youll gamble with.

Yeah me too. I gamble but gambling isn't that high on my priorities even if i find it a lot of fun. I mean, i'm ok with not gambling for weeks if it's not available. I think people have to know where gambling is in their priorities and they have to understand that a lot of things are far more important than gambling and by accepting this, i think self control can easily be acquired

Everyone will notice that they can't even control self from being greedy but they don't stop instead they still chasing their looses on gambling. Ever since i already learn my mistake from being greedy not able to control my temper every time i played gambling i focus now on trading minize risk than gambling. that is true and i really agree with this because when we playing gambling, we should control our emotion to not getting loss too much and we should only enjoy the games rather than expecting to get win big money. the more you playing gambling then you have the big risk for your money so you need to control yourself before its too late.

I know right, I did experienced that kind of feeling, I can feel you. It's really a bummer when you are looking forward from the profit that will be handed to you, but we don't expect that it will be the opposite.
And when I play dice I am using my strategy that really can't do well with straight losses, well that is always the ending of my gambling activity, straight loses.

No strategy is going to help you win either way. People keep getting the thoughts that they are going to win if they apply A to Z strategy or whatever you want to call it however it doesnt matter. You could use your strategy and prove it, as long as it is EV- then no strategy is going to help you win no matter what

I agree, many people can’t control their emotions and fall into the deep hole of addiction to gambling, they start trading for fun and they say it is and end up liking the feeling of easy money and the rush they get when they wait for the results, that is why everyone should control themselves otherwise they will lose their money.

That's an obvious answer, we can control ourselves in gambling but not everyone can do that. My experience in gambling would prove that, I still have this urge to gamble and chase bets especially when I am losing a big amount of money, this is a disease but I guess it's a normal reaction for a gambler since we always want to keep winning and end our day profitable.

Controlling ourselves really require a lot of discipline, and if we can execute that every time, the risk will be mitigated and we will not lose more that what we cannot afford to lose.
