Blockchain-based data management platform, Factom, has announced its partnership with Intrinio, an application and financial data provider. The duo plans on putting Wall Street on the Factom blockchain to provide immutable and transparent US stock market data for the first time in history.

Factom tells press that their partnership with Intrinio will make relevant stock data available as a public service. The project hopes to align itself with applications that can validate and audit one of the world’s largest stock exchanges. Both firms believe this will increase trader confidence by creating a more transparent playing field.

Like I was saying....

If you like your Wall St., you can keep your Wall St.

It was always going to be an extension on time and never a true reform.

Saying a "transparent US stock market" is like saying "military intelligence".

The games the stock market plays is already transparent.

It's just that nobody has the balls to shut down the corrupted show for what it is.

Especially Bitcoin who wants so badly to be accepted by Wall St like a warm embracing hug from a father.

People don't want a better place they want to go platinum again and again and again.....

What level of collaboration is not given out yet. At least it is a good signal that traditional business are considering to embrace blockchain technology.

This kind of blockchain is nothing more that glorified name for a slightly more elaborate data base.
It won't have any properties of 'real' decentralized and powered by users computing power equivalent.
If they think it will be unhackable database of the future, they are wrong.
