Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

maybe the E kicked in slightly earlier for those first 3  Tongue

but yes, i am in full agreement as to the steps necessary to increase the size of the bitcoin community.  it would be good to see some marketing firms get involved with social media campaigns and the like
