Hiya guys, i was just wondering, if its any good to start mining some bitcoins.  How can i get started, what do i need to learn and such.  I would really appreciate it if i could just get some newbie helps.  Any help would be great.

The jig is up unless you have an Avalon ASIC up your sleeve.

Better to mine LiteCoins if you want to use a PC.

you need to be more specific. Technically you can mine on a android smartphone.

But to gain some detectable profit, you need at least a computer with a dedicated AMD Raedon GPU.  

IMO, ASIC is the way to go. you can check the mining forum for more details.

ATI GPUs (If any type of CPU/GPU) or an FPGA, if you've got the time to wait, Then get an ASIC
