if using bitcoin will be considered as an illegal activity and could get me jailed by the government,so I won't risk my life, better go off to another cryptocurrency, maybe I will still use bitcoin but be sure that it will be very rare as it's too risky, will seeking for another cryptocurrency which having good communities and potential honestly but if it's only just warn and not having a heavy punishment it's fine to keep using

I think I will still use Bitcoin even tho my government says that it's illegal, and I also will use a tor browser or VPN to do that. And maybe if I already have a lot of Bitcoin, I would even move to another country so that I can live calmly with my Bitcoin.

Well, at first there is much things illegal but everyone is doing it, for example torrent sites.
I will continue to use bitcoins even if it will be illegal in my country but in different way. And remember that there isn't any safest way to hide your acitivity in internet, no vpn and no proxy can help you, if goverment wants to find you or your activity.

I don't think your government is going to make Bitcoin illegal anytime soon, especially not if they've already legalized it in some form. Bitcoin is pseduo-anonymous, so regulating it makes it much easier in comparison to altcoins that provide more anonymity. Coins such as Monero are likely to become illegal. That being said, I would still continue to use Bitcoin without any alterations. If the traditional system wasn't as flawed as it is, there would practically be no need for such coins (decentralization wise).

As we know, some country banned bitcoin and it's illegal to use/own bitcoin there. But, i see some people who still use bitcoin even they know the risk.
do you have any list of the countries that are "confirmed" to have banned bitcoin. to answer your question. i think i will continue using bitcoin, the only difference that would make for me is that it will cost me a VPN subscription. but i will continue using bitcoin especially in trading altcoins.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I have a question at this, how would government ban bitcoin? how will they know that you are holding bitcoin? If they know that, I think they are violating your privacy or one of your right, except if bitcoin will be a threat to national security ... With that, I think I will still continue to use even if it is going to be banned if the only reason is it is not being regulated by the government..

If its illegal then better to quit. But if chances occur that bitcoin being illegal but does not have a big punishment then better still try hoping that somehow it will benefit me more or I will gain more than the penalty needs. Still hoping that it not banned in our country .

I would probably still use Bitcoin, but I would certainly take some precautions like making sure that I'm completely anonymous when accessing my wallet and sending coins etc.
The one thing I would probably stop doing is converting Bitcoin into fiat, that wouldn't be too safe anymore, even if you do it just by outting it on a anonymous prepaid Mastercard.

It will depends on the banning regulations. If using bitcoin in internet and real life can make us put on jail, then I won't take a risk, I'll leave bitcoin. But if bitcoin is banned when used in real life only, then I'll still use bitcoin in internet only.

Well, to be honest, this would be the moment to exchange of big part of my money into Gold and Bitcoin when it comes to the point where owning or trading Bitcoin willl be called illegal in my country. Usually, such bans are imposed when something is economically going wrong.

As long tools to use bitcoin still exist like TOR and VPN-s or a Linux distribution with electrum on it I would just need to install electrum on my Pc once save the seed to some USB and anytime I want to use bitcoin I will load the tails live CD/DVD system and restore the wallet from the electrum there. All the transactions are done in TOR browser on Tails and this means my identity is safe. As simple as that.

I answered " what is government " because as a teenager who lived in a country governed by dirty dying old politicians who look at the new generation as a threat to their depressing system, I used from my childhood to revolute to their oppression and I don't wait for any good change from them : They banned YouTube : we use proxy They banned social networks : we use the Tor browser They don't give us access to international cards : we use Bitcoin and other ways They ban Bitcoin (after understanding what is it) : we will find a way to throw their pow papers and continue to use it

I think i will keep use bitcoin ( using tor, vpn or safety way ) although the government says bitcoin is illegal, because i use bitcoin is just for making investment (trading altcoins) and i don't use bitcoin for another activity. I hope it is not happening.

They banned social networks after some revolts happened there. What ever they try to do they cannot oppress you as long as you have bitcoin. Now it remains only one thing which needs to be cleared here and that is how will you convert bitcoin in cash and receive it since the government has made so much restrictions. The only way is to sell bitcoin locally but that is very dangerous given the situation described by you.

How can we use the bitcoin if the government states bitcoin as illegal in our country, then it becomes like using drugs when all country are banning. I wont use it , but i will avoid it and what ever account i am holding in will close everything or else i have to change the country of residing where bitcoin is acceptable

I think it's okay to not obey the rules sometimes especially if you know how to hide your identity. With a simple VPN, you can cover your IP address, you just have to look out for people that might somehow be crazy enough to report you to the police because of the use of Bitcoins.
I see no reason as to why would the government will make bitcoins illegal unless they are so desperate to get every single tax from their citizens. Bitcoin is very essential and it allows me to get money without doing much physical effort. So yes, I will surely still use Bitcoin but I'll be really cautious.

Haven't you ever wonder why some things are legal and some are banned? For example alcohol is much worse than some drugs (marijuana) and is perfectly legal in every western country. You need to think for yourself and understand second nature of some laws. Do you seriously think bitcoin ban would be beneficial and honest law?
