I think when bitcoin be illegal does not mean bitcoin has no value or no value at all? bitcoin is today also illegal in some countries? but bitcoin still worthwhile?

it may well have value elsewhere, but I spend it in my home country and if I can't do that there then i'm not gonna go abroad to use it. gambling is another use but again if I can't cash it out then what use is it to me? I won't be able to receive a bank transfer from a foreign exchange. my bank's gonna knows what the score is and reject the transfer.

But you  could still use it for all of your legal purchases like black tar heroin, rocket launchers and machine guns.

As we know, some country banned bitcoin and it's illegal to use/own bitcoin there. But, i see some people who still use bitcoin even they know the risk.
So, would you keep use Bitcoin if government says bitcoin is illegal in your country? Even if they could spy you on internet?

If that really happened my country (i hope it won't happen), i would still use bitcoin, but i would use tor browser and paid/trusted VPN to do any bitcoin activity.

More info (might be not up to date) :
1. Legality of bitcoin by country
2. Is Bitcoin Legal?
i didn't think that if the government of my country will declare bitcoin as illegal than there will be easy to access akl bitcoin related sites . so i think no one will use bitcoin in that country in which it banned . so buy and selling will bece tedious task . everyone will exit bitcoin if it would be .

This is a very good question.  People think that bitcoin can't be made illegal, but it certainly can.  And given that fiat works just great for me to pay my utilities and rent and groceries with, I don't think I would keep any bitcoin if it was criminalized.  That's a pussy way out, but there's no way I'm going to risk my wealth being seized by the IRS or FBI.  It's just not worth it.  But I think the US government is enlightened enough (don't kill me) that they wouldn't do that.  Or if they tried, we'd fight back.  Not saying I trust the gov't, because I don't.  It's just not looking like that's the path they're going to take.  They may tax the hell out of it, but they're not going to make it illegal.

in my opinion , i think it is not the matter whether you want to use bitcoin even after the ban or declare of btc as illegal in your country . because after the declare it as ilegal .every site related with bitcoin will be baned and no one will able to access without trick .

Why should government do that?? They dont even know about this. I dont think if it would happen but if would happen, I'll continue to use Bitcoin even if it is more risky and I know there are many problems to face.

Probably not, I'm a wuss but I would need to know what the penalty is first.  I would also want to know how strictly the law is being enforced.   But I don't think that's going to happen in the US.
You wouldn’t be thrown in jail. There would be no physical way for any authorities to arrest you unless they saw you trading bitcoin in person. The worst that could happen would be a fine and a slap on the wrist.

you are right and that's the real problem comes out. Especially if in you are not in the democratic type of government because you have no choice at all but to follow rules but in some ways you really can do something about it.

What a bunch of sheep!
I thought bitcoiners were revolutionary, I was seriously wrong. But the case is clear to me. I'll keep on using BTC because I don't have much other choice. I don't have the right to open a bank account in the country I'm currently staying. Anyway, moving to another country is no big deal.
Just for curious if you arent able to open an bank account where you live, you forced to spend all earnings or try to save them better as you can alone. But looks like you are exchanging it to bitcoin a part of your income, are you working outside your country? I dont cara about what government says, because they only wanna more money from people, soo banning bitcoin for me would make me search even deeper to get them.
Yes, that’s crazy that bitcoin it literally allowing him to be able to travel without worry. I can’t imagine not being able to store the money you have safely. I also love the fact that banks want to try and make money off of it. So, because of that I choose to stay up to date with bitcoin articles and info.

I'm not using BTC everyday, actually, I could even live without it. I said I don't have the right to open a bank account in several countries, but that doesn't mean I can't open one anywhere. I mainly use BTC for investment and trading. I prefer to compare it to a foreign currency. I still have Hungarian forints in my wallet right now, but nobody accepts them where I am, so I keep them waiting till I travel again to Hungary to spend them. It would be the same if I am in a country where nobody accepts BTC.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

If the the government says bitcoin is illegal, i still keep on using bitcoin. In the first place government should explain to the constituent of a country on what particular matter that they considered bitcoin as illegal. .

In the USA and its States, government doesn't have authority to apply illegal to the private lives of the people. Some of the time they win their court cases against the people because of the ignorance of the people.

At least I have to sell my bitcoin and till then I have to use bitcoin even though it sounds illegal for my country. Anyway government will not pay me for my lost bitcoin so i can take that much risk to use bitcoin. Bitcoin is my life and without bitcoin I can't think of a single day.

Well, in the case if government accept bitcoin as illegal here I doubt I would continue to keep it. Because of in the case if something is illegal they are searching those people who have this illegal thing and if they find they will take it all from you plus some big tax for that fact that you knew it is illegal, but continued to keep it. I think it would be something like that. So what for to risk and live in fear. I better say no to bitcoin than to my free and relaxed life.

I think even its illegal you can be still use bitcoin just make sure that you are using vpn and always clear your cache so that no evidence that you are using bitcoin.. you can do that just use online instead of hardware wallet..
But i think it will not happen in the future. incase that it will happen i will anonymously use bitcoin.

I would do the same thing.  Maybe I will stop using bitcoin because it is illegal.  Our country now is very strict on the implementation of law so better to be safe than never.  Plus it would be hard for me and everyone to keep a bitcoin if it was illegal because there would be no place you could exchange it to cash.
