I'm in the same boat.. I would have purchased the $600 dollar unit.. If they had their sht together. I was only willing to risk 149.00 .. I may change my order and upgrade if any sign of reliable info comes out. I'm actually thinking of building a multi fpga while i wait.

The more I research and think about it. The bigger of a scam it seems.

It is a bargain. In that all you lose is $149.00 since you will never get a delivery.

I think I still have about 20 days to push paypal for a refund if necessary.. It is a bit fishy.. But the fact they aren't pouring it on right now actually makes me think it may not be a scam. Just incompetence and lack of responsibility, and leadership .. bad business acumen.

I really don't know it it's a pure and simple scam or a lack of competence. I do know for sure that based on past events (massive delays + huge preorder backlog, etc.) you cannot expect to receive any time soon (2014?) an order placed recently.

I really don't think we will see them anytime soon. Save your money is my opinion.

I seem to recall there was an outing of the BFL CEO as a convicted felon.
That doesn't mean they are 100% guaranteed to be scammers... but the odds aren't good. Be smart, guys.

Slush confirmed that ASIC's are in the wild right now. He is the guy that runs one of the biggest pools, so he has no reason to lie. It's just not public tech.
