Hi-TEK Coin is based on the X13 Algorithm, which uses 13 rounds of hashing with 13
different hashing functions such as blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash,
shavite, simd, echo, hamsi and fugue. The Algorithms X11 to X17 were created as GPU
focused Algorithms but ASICs (Application- specific integrated circuit chips) were
eventually introduced to mine coins with these Algorithms. X13 is considered energy
efficient when compared to earlier Algorithms like Sha256 and Scrypt. However, we do
not have the issue of getting to use ASICs to get hold of Hi-TEK coins. More on this is
detailed in the following sections.
Hi-TEK Coin is a 100% POS coin, which means no mining is involved. By making it
100% POS, the manipulation by the miners is avoided. POS stands for Proof of Stake. A
wallet stakes coins (or fractions of a coin) based on coin age of the coins in the wallet. The
coin age for Hi-TEK is 24 hours. The wallet will stake coin(s) when the coins in the wallet
mature.
This is swappinc coin against artex coin because of 51%attack and the swapping ratio will be 1:1 ratio
and swapping will be done at coinexchange.io
