50+ views per article I have written myself. The articles I have taken from guest posters are not getting a single views a day. I reached 300000 global alexa rank in a few days and now it has been dropped to 395000 since I have started accepting guest posts.

Seriously I believe visitor should not be set as a criteria of payment. Visior depends on your site ranking not o the post quality. Like you are saying someone should write articles and he also needs to advertise them to get viewers? By the anyone can write a low quality post and advertise it to get many visitor. It's also a possibility.

It's also a possibility.

Seriously I have heard this first time. Post quality has most important role in SEO , I think.  A low quality post may need promotion but a quality post works itself. Don't you know , google consider 200+ factors to rank Search engine results. I am getting 99% hits through search engines.
 
Anyway , I am getting enough guest posts requests(most from Australia and USA) everyday for free but they don't comply with my site policies(no backlinks etc).

$1 for an article is still a very low price, maybe ok to pay that for 100 characters but an article should probably be at least  5 times bigger than that.

If i was to write an article and it gets no views i may still get a dollar for writing it but who then owns the rights to that piece of writing?
Do the rights to the works pass on once money changes hands?

and 1$ for an article is too low price. an article is not that easy to write, as I see, OP requires high quality article, so for OP, just add the payment for the article.

and if someone is interested in it, probably they can promote the article to get viewers???

A good blog post costs anywhere between $10 to $25 on average and if you happen to find a gig for a more serious company, you might earn as much as $100 per article so yeah $1 is very low. I wouldn't expect quality articles if I were OP.

I'm also interested in the questions above me that I won't repeat, but in addition I've some question and a suggestion related views and payment.

Questions:

- How much do I get overall when the amount of views on my article is 150?
- You are adding dollars per what? Why do I get $5 for 100 and $10 for 300 when 300 = 3*100 so shouldn't it be 3 * $5 = $15?
- Is the overall payment for a 100-view article $1 + $4 ( overall $5 ) or $1 + $5 ( overall $6 ) bonus?

Suggestion:

• Maybe you should put some money into escrow since writing a HQ article, the kind what you're looking for, takes time and whoever puts his time into writing a proper article takes a risk because he could have used that time for other business too. So, it'd be good if you put the payment into escrow so we can know that we get payment when our article accomplishes the given criteria.

I see that your website is more media related as the name suggests and it looks like a well build up blog.
