Yup that legendary crypto-think tank with their world class high caliber knowledge wizardry of all things Crypto did in fact run that story.

Further more.. they did because you all as a majority were repeating the same damn thing too !

Well let's rewind a bit shall we ?

What is "Quantitative Easing" and *WHY* does the US Federal Reserve do it ?
And would this concept apply to Crypto coins in a practical & similar manner ?
Would it work the same way ? ..i think it would work the same way (it goes with out saying)

What effect does it have ?

Let me put this into perspective for you all.
The worlds recession was band-aid fixed with "Quantitative Easing"
If the US Federal-Reserve could *NOT* cut the money supply then the dollar would have failed long ago.

If the only option you have is to create more money but never destroy it
Then you have a Federal-Reserve with it's hands tied and then the ensuing problems.
The Fed-Reserve exists to "manage" the dollar basically..
so how would it do so with out being able to "burn" money ?

It is a key way the price of the dollar is manipulated and controlled and KEPT ALIVE !

I was harping since mid-2013 all over crypto about the OBVIOUS blatant result of that mentality would be and i was right.. i predicted it !
I had to dish out lectures on supply & demand sooooo many times.. to argumentative assholes who would just cry Troll.

If Coindesk was correct with that story there would be no such thing as "Quantitative Easing"

so..

I agree, we had too many coin already. and most of those new coin are scam which dev are running away after getting some profit.
