BTC moving back to ETC?

We say a BTC dip when the ETC pump was ongoing. ETC seems to have bottomed and it has been rising since a couple of days ago. Considering the hacker is not dumb and will not dump to get caught by authorities, he will help to pump it too.

I have this feel about a huge ETC pump coming again.

I'm bullish on ETC, but its gonna take a fight.
the ETC from the DAO will be released + the hacker's ETC is available + some new exchanges are allowing for ETC distribution.

I think its largely in the price, but we could see some volatility in the next few weeks before the market can rally hard.

After all, on Day 1, almost all the ETH longs (i.e. everyone except for the guys in the situations above) could sell their ETC. Still ETC rallied hard. So with much less supply than on Day 1, I feel it can be absorbed as well. but where would be the bottom ? difficult to tell. Maybe its already in, maybe not...


TLDR: I think 5 weeks from here we will be significantly higher than now and rally mode, because the supply shock will be behind us, but in between it could be quite some scare.

I agree with first part of the commments. But I think the fate of the ETC is controlled by the hackers and ETC DAO holders.

This is the question every investor is making now. We may be in front of the next big opportunity to make some great gains, but we can't know where the bottom is.

About the hacker, like I said before, I think we will not see the hacker dumping, he is not stupid.

You could be right. The ETC price is quite stable at the moment. It seems there is no sign that the hacker is dumping.

I don't think so because the price is now around 0.0021 on Poloniex, ETC needs to first show the world they mean business buy getting function DAPPS on it and let's see ICO  get support the chain and get a strong partnership then it will get investors attention once again

BTC and ETC or ETH for that matter has nothing to do with each other. the BTC changes and all those altcoin changes are only a coincidence. at first huge pump ethereum attracted so much attention and some used this to dump bitcoin and buy back low but that is all the connection there ever was.

with that said, i am also expecting a rise in ETC but i have so many other reasons for that.

i hope its really happen because i have few ETC in my wallet, so if the rate is increase, i can take a profit. if i take a look on market exchange, ETC gets down too deep until now. i hope ETC will not down again and get rise again.

I also have same feeling this days, as ETC seems to have very good support on 0.002 btc level. I think whales will try to accumulate as much cheap ETC possible and pump it hard.

i don't think so to be honest it was just a random pump, you can see many in the altcoin section, this is no different, etc will not increase on par with eth imho, it will remain a niche market

I agreed with this post the first time I read it the day you posted it. Now it is clear that you and also I have made a mistake in thinking that it has bottomed out. Also a pump will come again from the whales but the question is when. If there is a pump from the whales the other question us why. Is there a fundamental reason that they believe ETC is a long term hold? Or are they pumping ETC only for profit and that they will dump it later?
