I would suggest starting off with a faucet too see how it works first then once you get a solid grasp on how the fundamentals of bitcoin works move on to another medium to make bitcoin.
That worked for me.

Faucets are not good because you will spend more time and your earning would not commensurate on the time spend, do a job that offers a great amount of money like signature campaign, if you are a student, you will not worry anymore on your allowance in school because with little time you can earn in signature campaign.

Well, you are free to start but I would tell you that you will not last in that kind of work, you will be board as you will aim for a bigger pay and we know faucets job cannot deliver that, you work hard with less pay, but anyway good luck to your journey since you are still a newbie.

I would encourage a newbie to learn about bitcoins. We have almost all the threads in the forum explain the benefits about bitcoins. Once we are familiar with bitcoins and other stuffs about it, can proceed with joining in a signature campaign and start earning bitcoins. We have so many ways opened to earn bitcoins here in this forum.

Faucets are really just a waste of time really, its doesnt worth for your effort and time  if i were you stay away from faucets and  do search other things that would  give you decent amounts as they said  signature campaigns are much better compare to faucets and thats really true.

You can: Buy some with USD, you can get them using online BTC faucets "I prefer those paying to microwallets", You can also do multiple easy tasks around this forum or in Get paid to sites paying in BTC, or you can post following a signature campaign if you like.

You can earn a little "bit" Cheesy from faucets  Smiley
this little "bit" doesn't worth to wast your  time.. I used faucets in past and didn't even earned one $ from them in a whole month.. there is much better ways of earning which a newbie can do.
they don't require any big skills and knowledge etc. specially social marketing. join facebook and twitter bounties of altcoin project and earn better than any faucet.

just found a runing social campaign sharing that here would be useful for you guys.

A newbie on the forum or a newbie in the Bitcoin world? A newbie on the forum can hardly earn a good amount of BTC from signature campaigns and people may be not so willing to do business with him where physical items and personal data is involved. But a newbie could sell any digital good with using MM and build up his reputation to be a more trusted member where he's more possibilities to earn.

Faucets will never give you a good earning because that is designed to give the owners of the site money but as workers you are just working with a little fee you receive, I know some of the people here started with faucets but now there is no need to start because there are ways to earn like signature campaign.

use faucet sites like epay or paytoshi. They have alot of faucets so you can accumulate all the satoshi from different faucets in one place and can reach the minimum payout very quickly.

I wouldn't waste your time trying to earn bitcoins because the amount of time you will have to put in to earn very little bitcoin will simply not be worth it. You are better off going to apply to one of your local fast food joints and then using that money that you earn working there to buy bitcoin.

Good suggestion, but the thing is, OP might be thinking to work for it online and not buy one, for a newbie, I think it's good if he/she should look at the services section on what small job he can do, signature campaign won't earn him/her at that level yet... But it's a good idea definitely, work on day job and just buy your self a bitcoin...  Smiley

Even though  he can accumulate the minimum payout very quick, its not enough for him to make a living or even get equal amount of money for his daily expenses. Faucet are worthless, You can try other way of getting source of income just like freelance or even joining signature campaigns. Just explore this forum and i'm sure that you'll find different kind of opportunities which can give you more money rather than faucets.

That's right, faucets are worthless because it is a waste of time, if you are a newbie you are free to try that but make sure you learn and you will be more ambitious to look for a better job that pays very well, signature campaign gives a decent pay but not something you can rely but in overall your 1 hour job here is way better that your output in faucet for the whole day.
