That's very likely to happen. That 0.9 BTC could be just from Pearson's own wallet.  
If its easy to really take just about 1 btc from someone here in bitcontalk with just the word intelligent blockchain solution ICO, everyone would have created their own ICO just to collect coins form unsuspecting victims.

No exceptions, all started from escrow including theymous. You won't collect anything without escrow so 5 x nothing is still nothing  The funds that could be raised from an ico are not for you to spend on living lol They are to develop the project.
