New feature: https://buy.bitcoin.com/BTC to the mainstream! Fees wise: Please note that additional fees will be charged, on top of the above Bitcoin / $ rate at checkout. Those fees are as follows: - Bitcoin.com 2.5% - Credit card processing by Simplex 5% ($10 minimum)
Payment processor: Simplex. This sucks. The bad about Simplex CC gateway: They think you are a fraud if you are not based in U.S. And if transaction goes through, banks charges you for Cash Advance (incurs additional fees)

You said it yourself this Simplex processor sucks a lot. You can buy bitcoins through Paypal,Skrill and Neteller at coinimal now Bitpanda and this is bitcoin to the mainstream since a long time now.

$10 minimum? That is extremely expensive. Also 2.5% + 5%. I think there are much better ways to buy Bitcoin with credit cards right now.

One buy for $200 minimum is a lot, especially for people who aren't looking to buy that much. I guess people'll have to go somewhere else if they are looking to buy less than $200 worth of Bitcoin.

i'm gonna guess that you gotta buy $10 minimum, not pay a $10 minimum fee but I may be wrong.
either way this is cool even if there are better options out there. i'd like to see some reviews about how good it is.

* Nope. It really is a hefty $10 minimum fee by Simplex, Plus the 2.5 % fee by bitcoin.com. * Their minimal charge to credit card is $50. (50+10+1.25=61.25) wew.

dayyum. that is really, really pathetic. bitcoin.com should partner up with a real operation like circle.com, not dick around pissing off newbies with this crap.

Assuming I wanna buy $20 from them and then I will get a charge from bitcoin.com 2.5% = $0.5 and then I think 5% charge is just applying for the buying more than $10 and every buy in under $10 will not charge by simplex. and I buy $20 and I got 5% for that and $2 for simplex and finally got $2.5 just for $20 transaction.

If I am understanding this correctly, if you wanted to buy $300 worth of BTC, the charges would be:
2.5% = $ 7.50 (Bitcoin.com) 5.0% = $15.00 (Simplex)
$22.50 are the total fees (7.5%), which would compare very favorably to the last two BTC ATMs I used (some 14% each).
Note that I chose $300 so that one would avoid the high Simplex $10.00 minimum charge.
Correct me if I am wrong please! If this still looks OK (7.5% total fees), I may try the service out.

Choosing a higher figure makes it indeed appear more reasonable. But that doesn't change the fact that the $10 minimum commission charged by Simplex is an extremely expensive one for most users. I mean, if you are going to buy a relatively large amount of Bitcoins, you'll more than likely use a bank transfer. And that is, in that situation, a much better choice.

* You can't coz the minimum you could buy is $50.* There is no buy in under $10.
* That $10 minimum charge is indeed way too expensive.

But be mindful of the credit card cash advance charges. Simplex is known for that.

Too expensive and too high fees. There are plenty of alternatives to buy bitcoins cheaper. I think it's not worth to buy bitcoins with credit card.

Problem with a debit or credit card that banks charge a lot, some 2-2.5% goes to banks, even if there were no minimum of 5$ fee, 5+2.5% us just way to match
So far I have not see any credit card option to buy bitcoin cheap, cexio has no % on withdrawal just 3.8$, but deposit fee is there 3.5% + 0.25$ which is still a lot better then bitcoin.com offer!

I agree with everybody that https://buy.bitcoin.com charges is way too expensive but i must confess that they actually allow you to buy anonymously even without registration not to talk about verification, i guess that is the price to pay for anonymity. How fast is their service ?

How fast is their service ? I am hesitating because I am wary of "Cash advance fees"! Some banks regard purchase of Bitcoins (especially through Simplex) as Cash Advance!

Not any more! (See my red highlight of quote) I regret to inform everyone that I tried yesterday to buy some $300 of BTC from them. I had bought some $100 of BTC in a purchase from a month or two ago. Everything went fine, some 50 minutes from start-to-finish (everything, first user to BTC receipt confirmation). Yesterday they asked for photos of BOTH sides of a driver's license or passport. They did NOT before. So, forget it. I hereby REVOKE my earlier recommendation of buy.bitcoin.com.
