With current KYC policies and usually really high additional fee most of BTM has I would rather use standard bitcoin exchange than seek BTM.
They either need to make them easier to use or it will be dead end of bitcoin evolution. BTMs are currently more like more exotic billboards...

more exotic billboards are still billboard and it is a good and constant reminder that bitcoin exists. we could use some more advertisement.
but i also see the problem with unusable bitcoin atms. maybe a limit of $50 per day and customer but without a high fee and KYC would be a good way to start it. it would be not much money but to play around and lean it would be enough.

One for sure, I tried looking these up in google maps and multiple other sides and couldn't find except one located in a high-density area, Went there just to try it and it was fun although the fees where a little bit high IMO, Would be better if it could exchange BTC to USD as well...

There are few around here, one being in the same site I live in, went there once and it was fun seeing a real-physical bitcoin ATM.. The good thing is that allot of new BTC ATM operators are no coming in and covering more areas with it, Definitely positive for bitcoin adoption.

From what I know where I am from they do not have any Bitcoin ATM´s, why they do not exist where I am from is something I do not know.
Maybe that they will build some here in the future but to me it does not matter much.

Some great news guys!
Deloitte, a multinational professional services, unveiled it's first Bitcoin ATM in Toronta, Canada.
The machine looks pretty nice by the way. Smiley

http://themerkle.com/deloitte-unveils-bitcoin-atm-in-their-toronto-office/

Quote
The Bitcoin world received a rather exciting surprise a few hours ago. As it turns out, the Deloitte office in Toronto now has its very own Bitcoin ATM. Albeit the company has been an active advocate of blockchain technology, their [public] involvement in Bitcoin has been minimal to non-existent so far.

Despite all of that, the Bitcoin ATM in questions is “powered by Deloitte”. For now, it is anybody’s guess as to what this means exactly, but it is possible the company issued their own user interface for this BitAccess device. Speaking of which, this is great publicity for BitAccess, as they compete against ATM manufacturers for market share right now.

For now, it is anybody’s guess as to what this means for Bitcoin in general. In a way, this is a clear vote of confidence for the future of this cryptocurrency. At the same time, it raises a lot of questions regarding Deloitte’s plans with Bitcoin in the future. Perhaps this ATM is just a promotional stunt, or it could mean bigger things that remain shrouded in mystery for now.

Having such a machine located at the Deloitte offices in Toronto is a big step for Bitcoin in general. For now, it remains unknown as to whether or not users can both buy or sell cryptocurrency through this device. An interesting development that may spur a new wave of interest in cryptocurrency.

Never seen any bitcoin ATM around my country and also haven't heard about exsitence of any. I have used local bank visa ATM machine to withdraw my bitcoin through bitcoin debit cards but paid like 10% in fees to do so, which included low exchange rate, foreign currency exchange fee, atm service charge and withdraw charge from card. I think bitcoin ATMs have cheaper fee than using traditional ATM machines.

There are only 3 Bitcoin ATMs in Australia. One in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. I am lucky as I live close to the ATM in Sydney. I don’t use it that much. It has a 3% conversion fee. I think that this is quite little. However, Bitcoin ATMs are going to take a long time to spread everywhere. At the moment, I believe that there are only Bitcoin ATMs in the big cities.

Okay, that is the way I think better for retire from using bitcoin debit card and withdrawal in local atm because 10% is very high fees in this time comparing with using exchange site and withdrawal into my account it's will take a more little fee comparing with using a debit card at this time.

I know one bitcoin ATM in Helsinki kamppi center, once I saw it, it is cool to see people buy and sell bitcoin in real life.

https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin_atm/363/bitcoin-atm-bitxatm-helsinki-kamppi-center/

BTCChina also owns a bitcoin ATM, there is one in Philippines financial center-Makati, I have read a thread about it.

But their fees are very high. I prefer buying on exchanges, low trading fees, easy and safe to trade.

in my city there are no bitcoin ATM, and i doubt there are many bitcoin users, but in other city there are 2 or 3 ATM, but that city is in different island with my city, i think there should be 2 or 3 bitcoin ATM machine is in each city so it can boost user to be more active in using bitcoin and also it will be a good chance to introduce bitcoin to the one that still don't know what is bitcoin
