People get scammed by charge backs so it's very hard to find a seller that way but you could try eBay.

I was frustrated by that because i kept trying to buy 10 at once and they never had 10 at the same time.. i did that all day until i had the bright idea to  buy in smaller amounts.  I was able to buy my 10 over the course of about 10-15 minutes by buying 1 or 2 at a time.. just hope my bank doesn't freeze my account because it looks so suspicious.

edit:  coinbase's daily max limit is a rolling limit, not a specific point in time where the limit is cleared.  the 6am time they give in the notice is just a suggestion where more are most likely to be available, but you can get them any time if you only get 1 or 2

Try Btcquick?  I haven't used them but they seem to be going gangbusters.

Being a 'newbie' can someone confirm why/how you are hitting your 'limit'.

Are you buying coins with cash or mining? So confused by it all   Smiley

coinbase's limit is one that they personally set for whatever reason.. lack of the ability to quickly get coins may be one of them.. but i dont know for sure.

What I meant was, say the limit is 10, are people buying these coins with their own cash? 10x$90=$900 which is quite a lot of money if they're doing it multiple times daily!?

Or are these people loaded?

i dunno how long its been around, but consider if people wanted to buy more than 10 when they were worth $5.     it would be annoying, but now thats the price is as high as it is.. i dont think the 10 personal limit matters much, whats annoying is bitcoins global limit of BTC that can be bought, the ARE working on upping that limit last i heard on their twitter page.  but even the 10 personal limit isnt really a daily limit.. i bought 10 of them at like 8pm, buy 2am i was able to buy another 6.. but yeah.. i had already given them $900 so i passed
