You will make money on this trade. ETC will see ~ $2.00 again in the near term. Monero will correct but prob hit $12 or thereabouts by the time Z-cash comes along. Your window to exit is narrow, I see this as a pretty decent short term bet.

I vote for balls of steel. I can't say for certain what will the future bring (if I'd know I'd be already rich, isn't it?), but there's a good chance the one could double and the other not die off completely and then at least you would not lose.
I hope you afford to lose those 20BTC if the things go bad. It is a small fortune...

I would vote for XMR only but wait for a bargain price to buy. I think we could see a flash crash to .01 before advancing to .02. We just had a 50% correction and could still see worse. Chance of that goes down if price gets back above .016 soon.

Buying any alt coin is gambling.... especially ETC, especially XMR, even buying bitcoin is a gamble although much less of a gamble than XMR

i think it is a good idea but still it has a very high risk.

XMR is rising and has a lot of potential for growth but it may take a while becuase it was just pumped.

and ETC is super risky because there is a war going on where ETH don't want ETC to survive so they dump a lot.
