buying bitcoins uk

Hello all, im looking to buy 500-750 pounds worth of bitcoins was wondering if anyone could point me to the right direction?
Already on localbitcoins but they are selling at a quite expensive price to take advantage of the current growth :/

My current high margin on local bitcoins is purely because if I don't see the message immediately, by the time I get around to replacing what I've sold I'm already making a loss. No help to you, I guess but hopefully explains why the mark-up looks quite large.

Unless you want to wait 3-4 days for a bank transfer to got hrough (which considering the bubble could burst at any time is waaay to long) its very hard to fund an exchange from the UK.  I'm struggling with this as I'm keen to buy some BTC asap.

Unless you want to wait 3-4 days for a bank transfer to got hrough (which considering the bubble could burst at any time is waaay to long) its very hard to fund an exchange from the UK.  I'm struggling with this as I'm keen to buy some BTC asap.

My last SEPA from UK to Bitstamp went through same day, today's is taking longer.

Blockchain.info are pretty quick with bank transfers from the UK. Also, usually pretty good prices.

The UK situation really sucks! Anyone would think that UK banks don't want us to use digital currency. Wait? What? They don't...? I wonder why? 
What puzzles me is why other companies do not set up shop in the UK to enable the easy purchase of Bitcoins? Is our goverment/treasury somehow causing problems?
I would have thought that being the only exchange in the UK would be quite lucrative no matter what the tax situation with respect to Her Majesty's Goverment is.

Been using https://localbitcoins.com as hit a brick wall with all other avenues in getting GBP to BitCoins.
Pricing on the above website is a little insane now though, it was ok a few days ago.

Prices on the website are insane at the moment because it's slow to get money back in. I'm barely breaking even on a 15% - 20% markup (varying depending on how many coins I have and where I think the price is going as it takes a 24-48 hours to get funds back onto an exchange. We're easily seeing that sort of a rise over two days at the moment.

I'm looking forward to another nice bit of consolidation like last week so I can catch up.

With a UK debit card you can do this:

Simply sign up to transferwise: http://transferwise.com/u/f0bd

Open bitstamp in another tab and login (sign up if you havent already)

Click SEPA deposit on bitstamps deposit page to get payment/banking information

Go back to your transferwise page and input the details from bitstamp by pressing the "make a payment" button.

Upload your funds to transferwise by debit card or bank transfer and when they get payment, they will then send it on to bitstamp as a SEPA payment.

24-72 hours later your bitstamp account should be credited and ready to buy bitcoin

Or alternatively you can use www.bitcoinfridge.co.uk for both BTC and LTC although he may be a little busier than normal due to the UK going coin crazy the past few weeks, plus he only reopened his doors about 3 days ago! Tell him I sent you lol, maybe he'll start doing referral bonuses for a chosen few

localbitcoins charges too high of a premium, far too high

same as bitbargain IMO, they seem to be working though so fair play to them.
